"Another one it's going to happen to, as soon as he gets the right man in his face, is Broner.
Broner, so far, so good. He's doing it the best of anyone else that's did it. But then, also, he's
had stiffs in front of him. He hasn't had no real fighter in front of him, man" said Mayweather Sr.

"When he gets somebody real in front of him, he's going to forget all about the roll. The roll
won't even be there, believe me. The roll won't be there, none of that other stuff - picking off, catching, rolling - you won't see none of that." said Mayweather Sr.

Also Floyd Sr. said that Andre Berto attempted to copy the Mayweather style and suffered heavy consquences in the ring.

I wonder who will be the fighter that will demolish Broner ? Maidana, Matthysse v Garcia winner, JMM v Bradley winner, Alexander v Khan winner, Provodnikov v Alvarado winner or Thurman ? :think

    about Broner:

"Trouble is his mouth writes cheques that pretty soon his ass wont be able to cash." by sharpshooter :yep:good

If I was Broner Manager, I will hope that he defeats Maidana. Then gracefully withdraw to 140lbs pick up a belt in that division before moving him back to 130lbs. Because even guys at 135lbs will no longer fear Broner & he has no purpose to be there, so he has to stay at 130lbs make less youtube videos and live in the Gym to make sure he can still make the 130lbs, cause determined guys will no longer fear him after they see him struggle at 147lbs...This is usually a career move of an older Champion, who wants to make big $ fights on the way out.

I can't see Broner staying Undefeated, which disqualifies him from being the next Floyd. Since virginity is the fulcrum of being the Next Mayweather & he already made it his goal to be just that :bart

Maidana could beat Broner, but if Broner goes down to 140 he will not be able to beat Matthysse, Garcia, or even Peterson. I think Ajose would beat him as well..............

He is going to have to pick a very weak champ at 140. 50/50 he makes it past Maidana. He can't make the kind of money he wants at 130 & 135, so he will step up to someone at 140 or 147 (Danny or Matthysse)that will beat him badly.

    Yeah Maidana is the problem!

At 140lbs he should jump on Juan Manuel Marquez if he somehow defeats Bradley & hope he can repeat the Floyd preformance. Then move down to 130lbs, it feels like a complicated escape plan with booby traps & landmines all over. Thats the only way he can stay undefeated like his idol & maybe he can move up when he gets mature and refines his skills

Yeah, I favor Maidana too. Maidana won't be intimidated, and Broner's style is just perfect for him. He won't have to worry about Broner moving around all night, like Kahn or Alexander, and he has real fight changing power.

He will never be able to make 135 again. Also while he was there he had no real competition he was huge for the division. He didn't exactly struggle at 147, lets see how he handles Maidana.

Maybe he has a plan otherwise why would he even come up in weight :huh , so I am just going to keep it at 50/50...because he seems to be too proud to just get KTFO by Maidana :patsch That will really end his career!

I am guessing his plan is:
#1 Survive Maidana win disputed decision
#2 Cash out vs Mayweather & retire, cause he doesn't seem to have plans to fight after losing :huh

He'll get matched against Mosley, Josesito Lopez ot Berto type of fighters to cash. Getting matched against shot-washed up fighters with a high profile is still a good way to cash and fill your resume. :yep

Broner is one of the weakest champs. His time will come.

Thanks for the tip Flashy...Actually Mosley vs Broner at 135lbs would have been a classic match up :yep

The problem is, I don't think he makes it through all of those name opponents. Ortiz and Thurman can hurt the kid.

It's a tough road ahead for you Broner haters:lol:

He wants Mathysee vs Garcia winner...so he's not running or hiding.
