"When a guy like Margarito becomes champion, the way he fights, it shows that the game has got bad, a lack of good trainers. Margarito can't fight a lick. All he do is come in and pressure you with will and desire, and just stand in your face and take all kind of punches, and then whenever he do get a chance he'll keep throwing punches. He's not a scientific fighter at all.

To tell you the truth I bet against Margarito and I'll bet against him again. Cotto was beating him pretty good but I don't think Cotto hits as hard as people think he does. The punches he was throwing were alot of head punches with no real substance to them and he never threw no body punches.

Cotto can still beat Margarito; it all depends on where his mind is now. Sometimes after a real good licking it ain't the same. It's the way that he lost. He retreated and went down on his knees on his own and that's a sign of retreat: 'I don't want no more.' Me being a fighter all my life, fighting Sugar Ray Leonard with one hand, there was no quit in me."

No way cotto beats margarito the 2nd time around. It's possible, but highely unlikely. Margo is a bit wide with punches at times, but he does throw some nice sneaky combos from all kinds of angles. He also has terrific stamina to go with his chin and will, which shows that he obviously works hard in the gym. He can't fight a lick yet he put a technically sound figher (who does punch hard) who outboxed and outlasted shane mosley?

I think too many people bet on Cotto the first time. Many even said that Margarito would quit on his stool which is laugable. Not that Cotto can't possibly win, but it will be a very uphill battle after the beating he took in the first fight.

I know it must be hard for a trainer like Mayweather Snr who is used to guys with a lot of technical proficiency but history has shown many, many times that fighters with the immense physically ability and will of a guy like Margarito can win titles and become great fighters even if they lack skill.

I want to believe Cotto can beat him but Margarito will have to of faded I think for this to happen.

Him and Hatton must be having a blast together I gather then. Probably showing Ricky that blocking punches with face is a bad idea and lunging in with your hands down can lead to health issues later in life.

In that case you'll be the only one giving $2 blowjobs and taking it up the ass when your broke ass ends up on the street from ******ed bets. Have a nice day.

I think what Sr. is saying is that in order for Cotto to beat Margarito Cotto must hire Sr. as his trainer.

I forgot he was training him now. Well then his standards should have dropped considerably.
