Mayweather Sr. on Floyd moving to MMA -""He needs to leave that s** alone."

Of course he won't win just like MMA fighter will not be able to beat a boxer in a boxing match. Floyd knows that and I don't think Floyd is serious about trying to make it in MMA.

I don't understand why some people go on and on about this whole boxing vs MMA.

 

He said "those guys can take a punch" I was witrh him up until that statement.
He's right about elbows, and knees being dangerous.
But I've seen to many MMA fighters knocked down with glancing blows and really hurt to paint them all with a good chin brush.
Another thing I noticed about MMA fighters is that they don't seem to deal with lateral movement very well.
Whenever I see a MMA fighter use a little movement he's affective.

i think mayweather would whoop ne of those fighters on their stand up game , how ever if he happens to get taken down or sumthin like that happening ... it could be trouble for old pbf

 

Why does it even matter what Floyd Sr is saying?

Floyd isnt switching to MMA. This is just a media thing. He's keeping his name in the news. Won't do him any good to sign a deal for another fight if we don't even remember his name. Well, by "we" I mean the casual sports fan. The casual sports fan would see "P4P boxing king plans on switching to MMA", and considering the casual sports fan is more into boxing than MMA right now, they'll totally be all over it. He's just doing it to get more attention, and more PPV buys for his next fight!
