He has to be all in, says he can help fix his flaws because he won't be a top tier fighter again unless he fixes his flaws. I agree but as May Sr. stated, he has to be all in, AB should mean "ALL BUSINESS" instead of "About Billions". Thoughts.

I don't think Sr ever thought he was.He never had a high opinion of Broner.

Despite Broner getting manhandled by Maidana, his natural ability is what allowed him to see the final bell. He has salvageable skills but he needs much better footwork and as Paulie stated, he needs to learn how to transfer from defense to offense better.

If he's coachable you bet he's got the skills. It's his image in marketing that needs some serious damage control. This upset might break the record for amount of crow served up :patsch I've never seen the entire world so giddy that a boxer got his arse beat :smoke

Problem with Sr is he think the boxer works for him even though he is paid by the boxer. He would be horrible for Broner. Broner needs a no nonsense trainer instead of another circus.

    @ T.S.

I really believe that a lot of the crow served up is deserved, but I also think this has something to do with so many fans wanting to see Mayweather lose, and this is probably the closest many of those fans will get to seeing that happen. However, if someone can help and revive Broner it's May Sr., I think Broner is surrounded by yes men, and I know May Sr. wouldn't be anybody's yes man.

I'm not going to say he's a bum, but I never seen what was so special about him in the first place. He fights flat footed, is content on taking shots and trying to block them which he was always getting hit. Just @ 130/135 he had a lot more power then anyone else there. This is what made him look special. He would lose the first 3/4 rounds getting out worked and tag with ease. Then he would decide to turn up and walk through guys because of his size and power.

Skill wasn't what he had it was a size and power advantages @130/135. Now at 147 he doesn't have either, but he still has his speed and accuracy. If he could learn how to move, box and up his activity rate he could still be viable at 140/147. He's always been too content on letting the other guy get off first, I think he believed he'd just go I there and ko guys whenever he feels the need. He was doing it before so he made the mistake on thinking he could always do it.

He has the skills, now he needs to work really hard on the fundamentals and like this thread has said, actually work on his weaknesses rather than try to bull through. Not at 130/135 anymore...

If he does not take this offer up I think he will never fufill his potencial. He does not need yes men.

This is one of the most ******ed things I've read in a very long time and trust me that's saying a whole lot. I hope, for your sake, you realize that he's being paid to educate and improve boxers with his knowledge. The boxer is the one who comes after him, not the other way around.
