    @StGeorge

    Agreed I also think we really haven't seen what Broner is truly made of as a fighter yet. I'll admit I thought he would win, but I was not one who thought Maidana would be an easy fight. I new Maidana would bring it (when has he not) and as for Broner, it was clear to see he got caught up in his own hype, which is why you can't surround yourself with a bunch of ""yes men". It will be interesting to see if he can rebound and hiring May Sr. would be a good start.

    Your last sentence makes a lot of sense.

    That business side you speak of is true, but when it comes to the training and the corner, your trainer is in charge. What took place in Broner's corner with him yelling back is not good. He should be listening to advice and focus on breathing and getting ready for the next round.

    You have to have respect and confidence that your trainer/corner ix going to give you what you need. The fighter is not in charge during trainer and esp. on fight night.

    Maybe I word it wrong but what I'm trying to say is Sr is not a no nonsense trainer. He does not put the boxers training above his personal matters. There is a difference from being a no nonsense trainer and a trainer that wants the lime light. The problem I've seen with Sr is he wants the light shining on him.
