    And then you have Floyd alluding he got the better of the greatest south paw of all time pernell

    Can someone tell me what's wrong with this

    Floyd Sr. was in jail when Floyd sparred Pernell and he hadn't even been around Floyd for years. The only times he saw him vs southpaws while in jail was on tvl and I'm guessing he was basing it off the Sanders fight since Floyd stopped the other two southpaws he fought.

    nothing's wrong with it. roger didnt listen to floyd sr...that's all. are you insinuating that floyd was lying about sparring sweet pea? what could he benefit from that? he's already a tremendous pound for pound fighter.

    I am not saying he never sparred pernell just saying need to hear pernells side of how the sparring went

    One thing is sparring Whitaker as a young kid, and the other is actually fighting southpaws professionally.
