    the hype interviews mayweather sr:

PC: Have you talked to Ricky Hatton?

FM: No! Uh, uh! We haven't had no conversation. They tried to make me look like the bad guy because I left the ring early. I'm not going to stand over nobody and look at somebody sleep. I'm not no paramedic man. It was nothing I could do about it. What would I get out of standing there and looking at him in that condition? I don't know what happened, but I'm just now getting my money. I should have been got it about 10 days after the fight. It took much longer for me to get it, but I did get it. Ricky Hatton ain't doing no good man.

PC: I know you think he should retire.

FM: Yeah he should. He fought the top 2 guys and he got knocked out both times. There is nothing left for him to do. He won the championship twice, so ain't nothing left for him to do but retire. He got enough money to live the rest of his life.

PC: Are you excited to see Lil Floyd back in the ring and fighting again?

FM: Yeah. I'm going to be helping Lil Floyd out here and there. Me and Lil Floyd alright now. I'm going to go back into town and help out a little.

PC: What kind of fight do you think Marquez will pose against Lil Floyd?

FM: I think he's going to pose a target. I think he's going to get hit with everything. I've been seeing Lil Floyd down there already and he's looking real good.

PC: So he hasn't looked like he lost much in his layoff?

FM: Well, you know, everybody lose something in a layoff; I don't care who you are, but he hasn't lost nothing like that. He's still sharp, still clever and he's beating everybody down. He's beating there brains out down there. Floyd is looking good.

PC: A lot of people think Manny Pacquiao is unbeatable right now. Would you agree with that?

FM: He ain't no unbeatable fighter man, believe me. Lil Floyd going to stop him. Watch what I tell you.

PC: You said that with Hatton too.

FM: We ain't dealing with no Ricky Hatton now. This the real deal. This is a different monster here. Ricky had the knowledge, but he wasn't the athlete to pull out the strategy. This is an entirely different monster.

I've lost all respect for that guy now. He still doesn't understand WHY people were having a go at him. Its the whole point of him leaving and NOT checking up on his boxer. Obviously he doesnt care and sorry but Mayweather your the JOKE

    it was all business dude.

i mean, hatton hates mayweathers character and probably visa versa.

I have also lost respect for Mayweather Sr. as a trainer. I cannot imagine to many top pros wanting to train under such a self centered, egotistical, *****.

This guy is a joke. Just trying to get back on his son's good side to get money. You gotta love how he always acts insulted and loud.

Yeah hatton didnt do great but I doubt you'd walk out the ring when he's lying there unconscious. I mean it takes alot of guts to step in the ring and take that punishment. He didnt even visit him in hospital...in fact im not suprised he acted this way, coming from the guy who used his own as a shield when someone held a shotgun to him...what kind of **** does that. I thought he'd might of change but this leapord can never change his spots....all he can do is add more

Yeah I still think the dude is classless but I understand where hes coming from talking about the money and kind of loosing respect for Hatton. Obviously the guy is cold blooded...... so what did he use as a shield, when he was getting gunned?

Mayweather and Hatton were a bad match temperament-wise.
