Unless they work together for 6 months the answer is it wouldn't make a bit of difference. Talk about a fish out of water. Most of Ricky's training is center around that style of his of lunging and comin in with his head out. Thats very hard to unlearn. Ricky while he does have one attribute that I could see beneficial under Floyd being his footwork but he doesn't strike me at all as a disciplined pupil thats prepared to take his knocks to learn a new skill. Especially when his camp thinks throwing body shots at a stationary Billy Graham is a great technique..
Ricky just needs more upper body pivoting, a lot more head movement and he needs to implement that into his offense. It's hard to make an offensive fighter fight with a defensive mindset, but Ricky just needs to be more Subtle in the way he approaches his attack...If he was he'd be a lot more dangerous b/c as of right now his punches are telegraphed and any elite fighter with good accuracy would break him to bits and pieces.:deal
I think ricky over rated, an if he traded trainers, there not much they can do to improve him,,the fact graham got this limted fighter this far, would have me ask why boxer aren't hunting him down, i mean roach didn't creat pac-man, he was given a great fighter in the first place, same with floyd mayweather seinior with dlh, i honestly think if dlh had trained with graham for his hopkins fight you would seen alot more heart in that fight, i think floyd senior took alot of heart away from dlh, i mean dlh lost every big fight under his training, an roach has got to fight a young game fighter like katdias, before i say he great, but not bad at all, but no better then graham,
If Hatton wins his last two fights against Pauli and Pac, he wouldn't have had a bad career at all. Why does he particularly need to change his style, it's served him very well. He's undefeated at 140, and only ever lost to Floyd. There are jab and move boxers who will have achieved far less then he will have.
