WOW atsch I hope you don`t mean overall, as in everything considered.... Diaz is tough as nails & non-stop like Margarito, he will walk thru hell & there is zero quit in him & his boxing offence is far superior to his boxing defense BUT thats all they have in common... Diaz is light years ahead of Margo as far as skill goes in their craft... sometimes I wonder if some of you guys have actually seen Nick Diaz fight, seriously.
If we count wins by KO in % then JDS has a higher KO % than Nick Diaz which should mean it is working better for JDS boxing than for Diaz if we follow numbers now as Diaz KO % is 50% and JDS is 64%
I take it you mean because I picked Shogun to win :huh I can take a loss, it genuinely slipped my mind tbh, which avater should I have & I will put it on ? Also... for how long ?
Stats only tell half the story, c`mon please don`t insult my intelligence by throwing numbers at me, thats amateur ****.
I love the Diaz fans thinking Nick is gonna beat GSP down. Nick's wrestling sucks and he cuts easy. You do the math. This **** won't be competitive in the least.
First, I wouldn't consider Diaz light years ahead in the skills department. You can't compare fighters skillsets between two different sports accurately imo. But I will compare them in their boxing style,. What they do have in common is their skinny lanky bodies, unorthodox, super slow non technical yet effective offense. High work rate, stamina, leaky defense. My point is they are far from being defensive wizards. If I were to compare Diaz' "boxing" to a boxer, since Mayweather Sr is a boxing trainer, I would compare him to a Margarito. Boxing is relevant here since Mayweather is not going to teach Diaz leg strikes, take down defense, or wrestling.
People who have better boxing in mma than Diaz JDS Big an lil nog Mousasi A Silva GSP by jab alone Bj Penn when cardio isn't a problem Frankie Edgar Melendez And I didn't say GSP has better bjj nicks is top notch but GSP will still beat on the ground by top control, guard passing and GnP!
Man, he's the reason Floyd Jr. is what he is. He bred that kid to be the champ he is. He only failed in teaching him humility.
He's helped his son who has a lot of natural raw talent. How many fighters with complete different attributes or styles did he push forward or elevate to another level? I can't see him doing any good for Diaz at this stage. Diaz would be better off with someone like Robert Garcia.
Yes, but that natural talent is directly from Floyd Sr. He showed him the way allowing him to unleash his potential and talent.
