I don't see why Marquez would be foolish enough to always go forward against Floyd and fall into that trap over and over again....

It might be a boring fight with 2 great counterpunchers trying to out think each other....

He can't win the fight if he tries to box with Floyd, he'll eventually be forced to become the aggressor. But it doesn't matter, Floyd can even be the the aggressor and still kick his ass.

I think that statement is a crock! Gatti wasn't 1/2 the technician that Marquez is. JMM went the distance twice with Pacman. Both men are warriors & it was a war. They didn't pull the BS that PBF does in the ring. Marquez will make it a war, Floyd won't appreciate that & it will take him right out of his element. PBF will find himself in no mans land against Marquez.

JMM is not Gatti. He hits harder than Floyd and if his punches landed, Floyd would surely go down. Yes, JMM is a Mexican, a great Mexican who always comes to fight unlike Floyd who nowadays comes not to lose the fight! Floyd will shoulder roll, potshot and run and run and run and run to a safe decision if JMM would not be able to catch him!

    Well . . . like I said . . . it's a mismatch as Floyd has all the advantages.:yep

But Floyd Sr . . . should shut the **** up . . . he's not helping his son sell tickets.

Gatti was average at his best and terrible quite often. Marquez is definitely no Gatti.

Still, Marquez is gonna lose convincingly. Marquez looked old in several sequences of the Diaz fight. The pressure is on Floyd though. If Marquez comes forward he is gonna get picked off over and over again by the quicker FMJ. You would expect he would feel compelled to stop being aggressive after a bit of that and it would then become a counter punching dual in which Floyd would win an ugly decision. In that case, you would assume Floyd will feel compelled (by the crowd's displeasure) to go after Marquez which will at least provide Marquez the opportunity to counter punch and make for a more entertaining bout.

I wouldn't be surprised if Floyd catches JMM clean late and manages to seal the deal by stoppage. OTOH, he's had a layoff so the pressure is really on him to deliver the goods.

Marquez will give hints on how to beat Mayweather. Trust me on this one. PBF picked the wrong Mexican.

I'm really startin' to loathe Floyd Sr.

He never ****s up, no wonder Mayweather Jr couldnt stand him anymore, he is the king of ****-talkers, overshadowing little floyd.
