Mayweather Still Filling Out Into WW

Floyd's always looked like a small guy for a welter to me.

Look how stocky Berto looks next to Mosley, he's a typical "big" welter, someone who walks around much heavier looking. (He's taller than Floyd, too). There just aren't any pictures of Floyd where he looks this "Thick"

Look at Mike Tyson and Sergio Martinez. Mike was 220 pounds and Sergio is under 170. They are both 178 cm tall. No way can Martinez make 220.

 

bone density and skeletal size are huge factors too. Vernon Forrest had huge arms, huge shoulders, was super tall, but really weighed next to nothing.

I think a prime your a prime of example of someone who looks heavier than what they actually are.

 

So i guess he refuses to weigh every fight just for fun? Floyd is a great fighter but you would have to be blind to not see how much perception means to the man. FMJ is extremly insecure with what people think of him. He plays an act like he does'nt but while doing so he makes it more clear how much he really does. Its one of the things that makes him interesting to me. He is so insecure even while being a great great fighter.

 

yeah in person Floyd looks the same or smaller than me, and I was 15-20 lbs lighter, he's not big AT ALL.

he aint as big as people think. he cant weigh more than 155 when he is not training. he never looks that big when u see him when he is not training
