I don't see how Schaefer going public is helping this fight. The fact that he is going public, tells me that he wants EVERYONE to know Shane has signed and agreed to all, yet Floyd still hasn't. Why? Because even Schaefer doesn't know if Floyd really is gonna sign and wants to increase the pressure on him.

Just what it looks like. I hope to god Floyd signs the damn contract and whoops Shane though.

Gain respect with bigger risk now and take 20 mil or wait it out for a lower risk and 40 mil?

I think Schaefer is worried but I'm not. There is a lot of money flying out the window if this fight doesn't happen and Schaefer is in panic mode. Floyd is just being Floyd. Floyd knows this time he holds all the chips and he can take all the time in the world b/c Shane and GBP is on "Floyds Time".

I'm sure FLoyd is a bit concerned with Shane as an opponent but not enough to back out of this one...too much money and too much FLAK is awaiting him on the back end of this if he doesnt make this fight happen. He'll sign bro.....Or I hope he will. I just don't think Floyd has it in him to cause the collapse in this fight b/c he won't be able to pull the same stunt he did with PAC and put the blame on the other side since Shane agreed to everything.

I think team Mayweather is brainstorming right now what kind of ridiculous demands to make, something that Mosley will not accept, so they can make it appear that Mosley is the one who did not want the fight.

That's possible but if he pulls a stunt like that he'll be "NEKED".. Meaning that coming up with the allegations for Manny and then the demands which ultimately caused the Floyd/Manny fight to collapse will be seen for what I thought it was all along....a way to bow out of the fight without having to say he didn't want to fight Manny.....doing this with Shane will look very bad! He isn't gonna pull that card and have to look like he ducked two of the best fighters in the world while claiming he's the greatest of all time.

Wow, its amazing that a thread implying Floyd possibly not fighting Mosley generate more responses than a thread implying that the fight is a done deal.

Just goes to show that alot of people on this forum would rather see the fight fall apart so they can continue ridiculing Floyd. What a pathetic lot :-(

PBF better sign this fight. The only other acceptable opponents out there for him would be Cotto or Williams. With that said in a lot of cases the fights aren't signed right away by both fighters so this is not that abnormal.

I hope your right dude, I really do. I just get paranoid. I honestly think, as a reasonable and logical person, that there is no way he won't sign this contract. But I have seen crazier stuff, and the fact that it's still not signed AND Schaefer is getting uppity, concerns me.

It has nothing to do with "wanting" to see the fight fall through, I want nothing more in the world of boxing for this fight to happen, and if I had to bet I would bet on Floyd signing. But this concerns me, and I'm a little worried.

Yea....anything can still happen. I just know there won't be any excuse that Floyd can come up with aside from someone very close to him passing away or some huge natrual disaster causes some kind of direct impact to his preparations. Floyd HAS to sign or retire.....or wait the winner of PAC vs Josh. Even then he'll be looked at as ducking Shane.

Something is defintely wrong when the fighters own promoter is frustrated with him. Its not as if both fighters are under two different promotional agencys and the rival promoter is bashing the opposing fighter for not signing. Its Floyd's own handlers that are fed up! :-(

There is NO excuse and if he does this he will get raped by Arum and Pac at the negotiating table.

the fact that he's taking this long is not a good sign. he's thinking too much now about losing his 0. i'm starting to doubt that this fight's gonna happen. watch him bail on mosley and fight ****in amir khan or some ****.
