For real!!! Damn....thanks for bringing me up to speed. :-( I still think Floyd is gonna sign. He has to. No other options out there for him aside from Hatton, Paulie or Nate...which Schaefer said were never an option that they explored before the berto vs Shane fight fell through.

My thoughts....:think It shouldn't be a surprise to anyone, but it's still a little too close for comfort given the fact that they need to make this fight final in the next 2 weeks. Floyd is ALWAYS impelementing mental war fare before his fights.....the only one I haven't seen him do this with was in his last fight with JMM where he kept it pretty respectful aside from clowning him for drinking his own ****....which I couldn't blame him.

... and that reported 30 mil he earned last year, April 15 is right around the corner. He needs to sign. Retirement is not even an option now.

Some other poster said it in a thread....that Floyd was almost forced into this fight. If things play out like they are now he might be right. Floyd has to sign if he knows that anther lawsuit is on the horizon. I cna't believe he's under contract with Golden boy for 5 fights. I never thought Floyd would sell his soul to the devil! Not that I'm knocking Golden Boy.....just with what Floyd has said about them as a whole in the past....it doesn't make much sense to me.

fair...trying to see what some of the Shane fans think realistically...do they think Floyd gonna pull out or is he good to go for the fight and just fu34ing with Shane..For all we know Floyd could have the contract at home and he'll get around to it when he does..unprofessional if u ask me but never the less it is a way to play mental games while trying to get into your opponents mind...still a doubt though and as a floyd fan i will admit i am starting to question what he is doing:thumbsup not one of these pac fans who think their fighter is god..i can admit when im wrong or i gotta eat my words

Floyd/Mayweather Promotions are yet to be licensed in Nevada for whatever reasons.

Really? I thought it was licensed! B/c it was in effect with his fight with Ricky if I recall correctly. It could have to do with his oweing taxes to the feds.

I think they just threw his name in there for good measure, but he's yet to be licensed to promote any fights in Nevada.

Shane fans probably think Floyd is going to sign but feel he's gonna be disrespectful to Shane at the negotiations table....similar to how DLH was to most of his opponents b/c his stock was above and beyond anyone else. Floyd and PAC are at that level where they can call the shots. Shane has to give in to Floyd's demands to get his shot and Floyd knows it. I really don't think Floyd will allow this fight to collapse...he's just playing all his cards and getting everything he can possibly get before giving shane his biggest payday. I doubt you will have to eat your words....I don't think Floyd ducks anyone. The only time I questioned Floyd ducking anyone was with PAC based on the events surrounding the entire circus that was the negotiations to make that mega fight happen.....I already know your stance!:good

Thanks for the knowledge homie. I was really off thinking Floyd's promotional outfit was in full effect.

Floyd can't sign to fight Shane on May 1st.
He already signed a $20,000,000 contract to fight Superfly Jimmy Snuka at Wrestlemania 29
