Cotto wasnt the same. He had been beaten down by Margacheato and Clottey(even though he won that fight) and Pac made him come down in weight. And i bring up Pac because im sure you give Pac credit for Hatton, Oscar, and JMM but give Floyd none. And even if he is "finally" signing the fight,i didnt see too many other people jumping to fight Shane.

 

The version of Cotto that Pacquiao beat is better then any welterweight Floyd has fought. You alway say Clottey beat Cotto, while guess who Pac's fighting next.

Hatton, Oscar both Pac and Floyd deserve credit. I don't see how you think one guy fighting Marquez at 130 and one guy fighting him at 147 deserve the same amount of credit.

Not that many people are jumping to fight Mosley but he's been in the divison over 4 years about time Floyd fought the best fighter in the divison.

 

You forgot that Pac came from the lower weights and hence was fighting guys his size or bigger than him.

Pac fighting Marquez and Hatton is equivalent to Floyd fighting Mosley and Martinez.

Floyd fighting Marquez and Hatton at 147lbs is equivalent to Pac fighting Soto and Funeka at 140lbs.

 

Much of the time Floyds been at 147, Shane was at 154. And then you have to take into account the retirement. Floyd is fighting him at theright time. I just looks worse because many believe he's being forced to fight him because Pac didnt work out. There were times that Shane didnt want this fight you know. If you give both men credit for their victories over Oscar and Hatton then i cant say your a blind ******* and i expect you to give Floyd his due if he wins.:smoke

 

Come May 1st I will be in Las Vegas watching a great fight between to great fighters, drinking beer with my buddies, and networking with good looking women while all you cynical and biased PBF haters will be at home on ESB looking for something new to ***** about.

 

Man, dont start this! Floyd oly ought one man that was truely smaller than him and that was JMM. And that was to show Pac he could dominate someone he struggled with. Pac isnt as small as people make him out to be. I hope we can all start to realize that one day.
