Cotto cut that ring off and has an elite level jab.

You're saying Maidana did more with less, but he didn't do more.

I feel like you're contradicting yourself, so please clarify for me. Lol

I don't mean hurt him more times, I think that's what you're thinking. I'm talking about quality over quantity. Obviously Pac hurt him more TIMES, but Maidana, being much less skilled, was able to hurt Floyd more than Pac could (or did). Granted, Floyd was moving into Maidana's punch.

That's to my point about different types of power. Pac can hurt Floyd but it's mostly his speed and quick snapping punches. Maidana has more power, and it's a heavy handed, clubbing type of power. It took Floyd a whole round to fully recover from Maidana.

Like i said Maidana put all his might into that shot Pac never did

Pac is also heavy handed but he has speed to go with that

Yeah, he was doing that pull counter and came back straight into a perfect right hand hahaha.

I get what you're saying now. I still think Mayweather had the same reaction to Maidana's punch as he did to that straight left hand in 4th round...like the exact same reaction, haha. Skipping back on right foot, off balance, back into the ropes.

If you want to know what Mayweather would've done in rd 3 vs Maidana if the bell didn't ring, seriously, just watch rd 4 of Mayweather vs Pacquiao. Mayweather's recovery time is second to none.

Smaller guys take shots differently. At 130 pounds against a young Manny Floyd would eventually in a fight get hurt bad.

You're kidding me. At 122 he hit people so damn hard they were essentially finished for the rest of the fight.

At 126 he knocked barrera and Marquez down with single punches.

At 130 Pac hurt Morales in the first damn round and had him almost on his knees for a minute.

He was keeled over after 1 hard left. And this was before Morales was washed up and he had an iron chin.

So don't give me this Pac is an accumulation puncher BS. Young Manny would hurt Floyd very bad.

And that is why Floyd wanted no part of him.

I still think the announcers and people didn't give Pacquiao enough credit. It was a chess match at the highest level.

Pacquiao timed Mayweather at times beautifully, and his defense was the best I've ever seen it (maybe too much focus on the defense and not enough on the offense ;) ) I agree Mayweather controlled the fight with his jab and kept the distance- which is exactly what he needed to do- but Pacquiao did some of the best boxing I've ever seen done against the best boxer in the world.

The way Pac had morales down multiple times with one shot while he was in his prime was crazy

floyd fought pac scared because of what pac did to cotto which is part of the PED using allegation. it took floyd five years of mental torture before finally agreeing to fight pac when his investors are losing money. it's not hard to see really, you just need to step back out of the box in order to see the true picture.
