True, but when I read the article they wrote in their magazine awhile back about 10 fighters from the past that would beat Floyd, I've been looking at them sideways ever since.

It just seemed weird to me the way it was worded. Usually you write a column to compare and analyze a fight between fighters from different eras. But this one was straight up "Floyd has no chance against so and so because of certain reason." I've just never read anything like it before. And never anything like it since. Don't get me wrong nothing wrong with criticism. But it was just so blatant.

I still think they are when it comes to boxing honestly. Dan and Brian Kenny are the only exceptions honestly and BK is gone and Dan is still Fat lol. jk but yeah when they have tards like skip bayless who dont give you an analysis on skill or technique just their uneducated opinion is what pisses me off.

Nope, I think they just state what they think is right. Just like what Oscar(owner of ring) told that he thinks Floyd beats Pacquiao.

If The Ring hates Floyd, Oscar would side with Pac on who he thinks will win.

The Ring ratings take its inputs from its panel of boxing journalists from around the world. So the writer of the article in the Ring that you read has nothing to do with how the Ring panel rates boxers. Look at the list of the Ring panel. ESPN journalists are even a part of its panel. You get me now?

I agree with Dan. I probably would have Marquez above Pacman as well since I thought he beat pac twice and drew with him once. Pac has done some impressive work at WW though. If Maquez can get another quality win like Kahn at WW then I think he surpasses pac.

The Ring is owned by GBP so perhaps if they bumped Floyd it would look like they have a bias that's why they didn't
