Floyd personality is what over shadows his greatness, because the media know matter how good he is will portray him according to it. To the casual boxing fan, weather he likes Mayweather or not, can see the talent in the fighter regardless of what the media portrays. But the bias can't accept the greatness because they have a prejudice against the fighter, and in there minds by accepting the greatness you accept the fighter that holds it.

here is my honest opinion about the pacquiao situation:

Mayweather will win however it would not be an easy fight due to pacquiao's punching output, speed and ability to absorb punishment. It wont be a boring fight.

UD- mayweather will not knock pacquiao out!

it wont be easy however it wont be as hard as people think!

my honest opinion is that Floyd can't absorb nearly the punishment Pac's recent opponents could, but he is far more talented. I think any of Pac's accumulation combos could knock him down or spark him from the weird southpaw angle, because the two problems Floyd has shown ever in a flawless career are that smart swarming and a good left hand make him look a lot less invincible.

Unfortunately, Pac has a weakness for counterpunchers with a good right hand.

Its a perfect fight but I can easily see Pac knocking him out very early with very little effort, or a more difficult UD for Floyd if he stays busy enough to make it clear who is winning. He has never been a very busy guy at welter. Pot shotting is not the way to beat Pac.

Floyd's fans can't have it both ways. Either:

a)Pac is dominating the sport right now in a fashion that's never been achieved before, and thus the only explanation is PEDs.

    or

b)Mayweather himself started out as a 106-pounder and thus he has the same level of accomplishments, which means the accusations of PED use are hypocritical at best.

    "SO WHICH ONE IS IT!?!!"

Personally, I wouldn't Karceno to kill himself. I mean when "**** happens" that's one less person I could point out and say "Well, at least I'm not Karceno." hehehe :rofl:rofl:rofl

The problem is you're overrating Pacquiaos speed and power.

He's fast and powerful if he faces brawlers, and gets to hit them 400 times

Floyd had to adapt his fight game hugely to compete above 135.

He was a knock out merchant at the lower weights. Super aggresive.

Only competes at 147 by fighting smart

Manny's more explosive and aggresive at 147 than he was 130

A; Floyd doesn't even get hit by single shots, let alone combos
    B: That's it

Manny has a chance if he can manage to land 5x as many shots as Marquez did. And he'd still lose probably
