    Come on man. Fans need to stop generalizing on this subject.

    2.5 million bought De la Hoya
    1.7 million bought Hatton
    1.2 million came back to buy Marquez
    1.6 million bought Mosely.

    I'd say, quite a lot of people were entertained.

    This theory that fight fans like watching nothing but wars is ******ed

    yeah with pitter patter shots, after he hurt floyd he wasn't allowed to throw any more hard punches because it will expose floyds glass mandible.

    What I'm trying to counter, is thus:

    This argument you read about

    "Mayweather can't handle pressure, and Marquez and Mosely didn't throw shots. How's he going to handle Pacquiao"

    You know, two things counter this, pretty clearly

    1: Pacquiao's work-rate, tends to be dictated by how slow his opponent is. He only threw 510 against Marquez. And 700 against Cotto. In all reality, he's not going to throw more shots against Mayweather than Cotto. Probably considerably less.

    2: Marquez threw 580 and landed 60. What's Pacquiao going to get out of his 700? Maybe 150 max?

    3: Floyd always lands at least 250 over 12 rounds.


    What I'm saying is, Pacquiao has a punchers chance. He'd lose by a big distance if he couldn't hurt Mayweather

    Can I ask a question?

    Pacquiao's work rate dropped hugely against Marquez, after about round 4, when he'd taken some big shots.

    As in, he knocked him down 3 times in the first few rounds, then didn't hurt him again the entire fight

    Was Pacquiao fixing his own fight?

    You **** on Mayweather for his character yet the fighter you respect took steroids and according to you takes dives in fights.

    Say he did take the dive though, wouldn't he earn more money by defeating Mayweather?

    probably was, marquez tapped that ass and got robbed, but floyd's was even more disgusting as you could hear him talk about it in the middle of the ring, he would do anything to protect that glass jaw.

    mosley has no choice the cosa nostra aka golden boy promotion has the last say, there was nothing he could do, its either lose to floyd or win and never get a big fight again.

    floyd takes steroids too, i've posted proof of it and please dont tell me about how he passed the tests, marion jones passed those exact same tests for 20 years until victore conte snitched on her.:deal

    Pacquiao and Mosely fixed their own fights so they'd lose.

    or

    Marquez and Mayweather just figured out their fight plan,the hard way, and adjusted, and shut them out

    Mayweather and Marquez are smart. They have a plan A, B, and C

    Pacquiao and Mosely had a plan A. And nothing else

    That wouldn't make sense though as if he were to beat Mayweather then he would automatically get the rematch or expose everyone. Then he could leave for Top Rank if they were to black ball him, and his marketability would be huge for beating Mayweather?

    2: Marion Jones never even took part in Olympic style testing. The USA Olympic Movement signed up to WADA testing in 2003 - the same year, she was exposed in the BALCO scandal
