The fact is cutting weight will always result in sacrificing skills. If Mayweather doesn't want to sacrifice skills to make weight, then he should move up in weight. Or retire.
keep in mind when you say taht **** that Pac has only fought at 1 catchweight in his entire career. All his other fights were fought at the official divisional limits
****... you're right. I read that a while back but I can't find the article now. All I can find is Mayweather being offered $8mil to fight Baldomir. Embarrassment. Self fail.
its just bull****. the fight will happen. i doubt that floyd can no longer make 147lbs, he weighed 146lbs last time against marquez.
I think Floyd is just trying to negotiate coming in at a higher weight. He thinks he will have an advantage if he can come in at 150 or so, with a bit more size. At 147 he will definitely be the ***** in the ring, at 150 or something he will have a bit more strength. I'm certain this is what's happening.
Man i really hope this isn't true...but, I won't be surprised if it is. i've been saying this for a long time now, and I know most Mayweather fans think i'm ridiculous when i say this, but I don't think Mayweather has any intention of fighting pac. He is simply putting everyone through a faux negotiation to keep the media off of his rear end. Like I said, i hope I am proven wrong...but being a former fan of Floyd, I am getting used to disappointment. I have become accustomed to Floyd choosing the opponent whom no one wants him to fight.
1 Catchweight and another rehydration clause. Cotto and Oscar, 2 big names on his resume. Manny is a great fighter and it will be a great fight. But if there is any issues regarding weight, I cant see that having anything to do with Floyd - so long as the fight is at 147 and without a rehydration clause. Mayweather wont have any dramas with a fight at 147, none at all, would make that weight on his ear.
It's amazing how viral BS gets around from some hater. Before this Ron Frazier bull**** there were no results on google for that term. Now there are threads dating back a whopping 3 days.
