You have to start a negotiation somewhere. He knows he won't get 100 million, so then you wait for the counter offer and go from there. Relax.

I think Floyd is a massive *****, but there's no way I'm going to believe one shred of information that comes out of that **** Arum's mouth.

    What Arum said:

"We went through a negotiation that nobody really knew about with Mayweather. Some group came in wanting to put it in a particular country

" stated promoter Bob Arum, who suprisingly revealed that he and fellow Hall of Fame promoter Don King had a private negotiation in hopes of putting together the fight we've all been waiting for, the highly anticipated showdown between pound-for-pound champions Manny Pacquiao and Floyd Mayweather.

Arum explained. Wow! $100 million? If true, it sounds as though money, not random blood testing, is the real issue holding up the biggest fight in the sport.

that's right. and **** HBO getting 50%. all HBO and the promoters do are put the fight together, promote it, sell it and show it. if they can't sacrifice to pay Floyd 100mill then they're the ones who have ruined this fight.

HAHA, do you honestly think thats the issue. Lets say hypothetically they were able to come up with 100m for May. Can you imagine his reaction?! "****!??! How did they manage to pull that off??? Cant they see im trying to ***** out of this fight while trying to maintain a shred of dignity!?? Uh uuhhh, up it to 200m!!"

to be fair to Floyd, the article says that Floyd gave the $100M number when the possibility if fighting in some other country was raised. so it's possible that Floyd is only outpricing himself from having to fight in some other country.
