Mayweather to finalize foe next week-says pac who

How? How much more obvious foes it have to be that Arum has no intention of making this fight? He's already announced that Pacquioa is returning in April, and says the fight would have to be a joint effort between Showtime in HBO. Mayweather's contract with Showtime precludes that from happening. Pacquiao has no deal with HBO.

 

I gave up the Floyd/Manny fight years ago.

 

Floyd-Bradley would be fantastic.

But I think if there is any TR fighter that gets to fight Floyd, its Manny, due to their history and money.

Tim Bradley isn't really a household name, unfortunately, because I really like the guy.

 

He could beat Khan, with one arm, literally. No way does he fight him.

 

1. Unfortunately Garcia is one of the best fights at WW, even in his debut, as ridiculous as that may sound at first.

2. He 9-3'd Zab and KO'd Khan in 4 rounds. Struggled? No.

3. He is slower than Canelo.

4. Can't do that with Bradley at Top Rank but I do have optimism for this fight if/once Bradley leaves TR.

 

Cotto wasn't a GBP fighter. Regardless, Floyd would be perfectly content sitting back and fighting GBP fighters. He's the number 1 fighter in the sport. He's not gonna chase anyone. These other fighters have to chase him.

 

Why would Mayweather ditch his date to fight a fighter at a lower level than him?

 

floyds on a different level to all so any fight announced will get criticism

i dont see khan as that bad a fight.... he's taller and faster than floyd with quick feet and a reach advantage... Khan has struggled in the past against big punchers who rush him corner him into the ropes and fight fire for fire

floyd does none of these things and doesn't have knockout power!!
i'll be tuning in and if it's in wembley i'll be attending!!

This is most likely. No matter what he says about fighting Manny. Nobody would pay for him to spar Khan. Garcia is a decent fight, that Mayweather would no question win.

 

Floyd isn't fighting Khan. He isn't stupid to fight him especially here in the states. He could get away with it fighting if its in the UK but its not happening.

I am thinking it will be Garcia or Floyd is going to shock us all and fight someone at 160.

 

I'd rather pay for Mayweather vs Khan than Mayweather vs Garcia. Probably wouldn't pay for either though.

Did I miss something? When did Mayweather announce his next opponent? As far as Bradley, he's a good little fighter. I have nothing against him.

 

1. Garcia is def unranked at WW... If you choose to give zero credit for fighting a guy moving up than that is on you; go ahead and give Hagler no credit for KO'ing Hearns since Hearns never fought above WW before that.

2. If Khan would have beaten Garcia if Khan wasn't a bum, than you must think literally nothing of Matthysse, huh?
