If I'm Golovkin, I'd move up in weight and fight Ward @ 168 (If Ward can still make the super middleweight limit). He'll most likely be an overwhelming underdog but it's still a fight he could possibly win.

Just like Fluid Jr. said that he'd fight Sergio Martinez at a catchweight, but suggested Sergio fight Andre Dirrell after Sergio punched Williams through to another time zone.

Golovkin should move up to 175 to beat a guy to get his shot at a guy at 154.

Has any fighter in history done this before?

Pretty sure that if Golovkin does just that, Floyd is nowhere to be found.
Read this as when Hell freezes over and pigs fly.

Precisely. Golovkin KOs Ward, you think Floyd will actually want to fight him? The Pacquiao-Hatton KO spooked him for 5+ years.

Meanwhile Floyd should beat Kovalev so it will be a mega fight.

    LOOL

GGG would knock mayweather inside round 1 with a jab at least with ward it would be somewhat competitive but the mayweather fight is mismatch

Mayweather has the name but ward is the much tougher better fighter

What he is saying is that GGG won't fight Ward, so he don't have to worry about it.. It's like telling Khan to KO Canelo then we'll talk...

Floyd needs to shut his mouth.

Making silly promises on something he knows won't happen.

Even if Ward and GG wanted to fight each other, Ward is now at 175, and he may not even be able to comfortably make 168 for a CW.

    It's just BS.

And what if GG did move up and beat Ward?

    Then what?

What weight would Floyd want the fight at?

    152 or some sh*t?

As if GG would be able to gain mass, and then lose it all to fight Floyd at JMW or lower.

    F*ck Floyd!

I'm sick of hearing him talk.

He's supposed to go up 2 divisions at 34, and then come back down 3?

I think Floyd's talking nonsense, but even if he was genuine, he probably wouldn't even fight GG at 154.

    Floyd's a joke!

Maybe Team Triple Duck was only kidding when they were talking about how much they wanted to fight Floyd.

    LMAO...

You can't duck someone that is two weight classes above you, silly.

You can duck if you don't fight your number one contender or force said contender to a weight that you, as champ, feel should be the max weight for the division (Caneloweight 155).

This is pretty simple stuff that any logical boxing fan can understand.
