    radio shows... etc... nothing respectable.

it's almost like when a rapper has another rapper mentioned to him and the interviewer says..."the streets think he's better" .... then the rapper say's "mannn **** that mother****er.. he bites rhymes...he can't see me... i'm the best...i got platinum albums"

usually they go back and forth in a battle..... going to court is just ***** ....especially when you are fighters...in the same weight class....and there is money and history to be made.

nope.... i have been watching floyd since the friday night fight days... I wasn't much of a fan of his when he got crazy and got the "money" persona and was talking smack with gatti.

i wanted Arturro to win but i knew better.... Floyd backs it up.
    Manny is impressive as well.

between the 2 I like Floyd Mayweather.

BS fear tactic to "scare off" the heat and get the fight WITHOUT testing.

Sorry Pac. Your farcical lawsuit only postpones your inevitable fight with Margo. Nobody is entering into negotiations with you so that you can use "dismissing the lawsuit" as a bargaining chip! :yep:nono

    1. "'Cause we know the Philippines got the best enhancing drugs."

Pure speculation. If Floyd had said, "Pac is definitely on steroids because we know the PI have the best enhancing drugs," that would be incriminating evidence. I'll admit, he was close to crossing the line. Close but no cigar. Sorry, Team Pac. You can smoke your cigar if you beat Floyd in the ring but not in court because a victory seems far-fetched. I could be wrong and if I am, I'd be appalled.

    2. "Great doubt as to the level of fairness I would be facing in the ring that night."

What the hell is so wrong with suspicion??? I didn't know it was a ****ing crime to take precaution for the sake of your safety and health. If it is against the law then I'd like to see every mother****er get arrested for owning an alarm system. Mayweather is Boxer which means he's subject to a high risk of serious injury. If we're talking about the game of Poker then one would have a strong case for shaming Floyd for his unflattering comments.

    3. Mayweather claims Pacquiao had asked what penalties he would face if he was found guilty.

How does one know this came straight from Floyd Mayweather, Jr? This is like blaming Pacquiao for a crime that one of the members on his team committed, which we know has occurred. Moreover, this will end up as another one of those, "he-said, she-said" situations. There is no way to tell who is telling the truth.

    4. "Pacquiao got the power pellets, yo, and the steroid juice. Pacquiao got the power pellets, you know."

Sounds suspect. I wouldn't be surprised if this is a product of something that's been manipulated or taken out of context. But if this is what Floyd actually said, it is Team Pac's strongest case. Shame on Floyd if that's his actual comment. I suppose Team Floyd can deflect it by saying "owning" and "using" are two different things. You might find a ton of alcoholic drinks at my house party; doesn't necessarily mean I'm an alcoholic.

I would go as far as calling this a frivolous lawsuit just because we hear celebs in general get denigrated many times by comedians yet they aren't having nonstop in-court wars. I don't condone character assault but in the world of sports, heckling is part of the game. What if every athlete sued every single fan for an unsavory comment? What if Floyd sued Team Pac for insinuating he's a coward? It'd be ridiculous.

It's no wonder Floyd is being a total ***** with his demands in regards to fight negotiation. I'm still waiting for Team Pac to take legal action in regards to Malignaggi's and Cintron's accusations. Singling out Floyd suggests Team Pac is interested in nothing but slamming Floyd as public enemy number one. It surely isn't about the money because $5 million pales in comparison to their weight penalty clause. Oh the irony.

gyll - agreed 5 million pales in comparison to the weight limit stipulations and Pac's share of the fight purse if he takes the test

Floyd (and company) stopped talking about Pac taking PEDs. That defamation suit has something to do with this.

They stopped talking about it because the fight fell through, which meant their priority was Mosley rather than Pacquiao.

Thanks for saving me a lot of keystrokes.

Might I add. #4 is definitely the strongest case but Pac is still the one that has to actually prove that the statement was false, and the Floyd knew it was false.

Very weak case, and most experienced attorneys I have talked to (the Law Professors at my school) have all said that thye would be really surprised to see this case go anywhere. A couple have suggested that Pac's Atty should be admonished for attempting to use the US Judicial System as a bargaining chip in business negotiations.
