"The payday is undoubtedly an exaggeration. WWE head Vince McMahon did not build an empire by offering people $20 million for a one-time appearance."

"In fact, some wrestling insiders guess Mayweather's take will be closer to $1 million."

Although I don't like wrestling, it's still worth it. Getting $1 million for a fake fight when he wasn't going to fight in September anyway is a good move. I just wouldn't allow them to hit me with any forgeign objects, or anything like that.

BIG difference between what they lied and said he was getting over what he is actually getting.

    They lied to grab attention.

    Lame.

Presscott will be watching that's for sure.

That sounds more realistic. It's still worth it and the pubicity is priceless.

A lot of media outlets reported the $20 mill number. However, it just doesn't make any sense. I don't see how that much is even feasible. For the record, I got these quotes from ESPN.com.

    Why?

Ali, Louis, Hearns, were all involved in wrestling at one time.

they are most likely hoping that all boxing fans will buy this PPV. then the figure they can make them fans of WWE with the rest of the show? either way for 1 million, i don't see it being a big risk for WWE.
