As the title indicates Floyd Mayweather has said that he plans to take another two years out of boxing. Do any of you think he's being serious or do you think it's some sort of negotiating tactic to make sure the Pacquiao fight happens? I'll be amazed if it isn't the latter. There's a thread on this in the General. Personally I never believe a word that comes out of his mouth but if he is serious about this, then it will be one of the biggest ducking out a fight of this size ever.
I know but a lot of people on here hardly ever venture on to the General anymore, for precisely what we're seeing on that thread, the usual *****s vs *******s bollocks. As you say, it is hard to believe anything he comes out with.
only go the the general for the irish boxing thread have to say its an amazing source for all things irish boxing
I don't even bother reading the ****** room anymore. If it's not ''Haye is ducking Klitschko'' or ''Void is a fraud'' or ''Khan has a glass chin'' it's a bunch of experts on a variety of subjects such as contractual law, drug testing, the effects of drawing blood on your body etc :zzz
I hope it's a bargaining ploy. Roach apparently said that he wants Pac-Floyd next (The Scene) so let's hope it happens. I'm still convinced Pac will win, he's operated at a higher level and I think his chin will hold up enough for him to do his thing, and I can't see Floyd outpunching him, Pacs swarming will be eye catching and take the judges away from Floyds accurate counters and defense through Pacs flurries. Insanely close action and a scorecard that will be debated for years, Pac MD.
I don't think Haye wants any of Wlad though, his actions recently have proven that to me. He's got both eyes on the old man Vitali :deal It's the one commonly debated topic that I do agree with...... though it does smack of hypocrisy them all calling Haye a disgrace when their fanboys are the two biggest cockblockers in the sport
LOL at that those over excited ******s on the General. I reckon Floyd is just fed up to the back teeth of being asked about Pacquiao and just gave a flippant response without considering the ramifications on the East Side Boxing General Forum.
If he does decide to retire then this is going to look really bad for Floyd. I still think/hope he's talking shite though.
