I ****i'n hope this is true.:yep Who cares about Berto and Rodriguez? Quintana, Margarito and Cotto can beat both of these fighters any given day. What's important is Mayweather getting out of the picture completely. :happy :happy :happy :happy :happy :happy :happy :happy :happy :happy :happy :happy :happy :happy
Why lucky? Mayweather doesn't care about his belts, he's 'retired', don't you know? And he's only returning because of the vast demand of the fans for Money-DLH II (sarcasm) at 150, it means he can't make a mandatory defense, therefore should be stripped at the very moment he signs for the DLH rematch. If one of the two highest ranked contenders is Berto, you could make an argument he's lucky...
If i was Berto's team i would put him in with someone like Kermit Cintron after this. This would show if he is top 10 worthy.

They should have arranged someone better as mandatory. Pointless fight.
Mayweather-Berto would be a pointless fight, at least until late 2009. Berto must start beating contenders and create a name, like Cotto.
:good not only that but the wbc moved hatton to no1 in dec for their fight so pbf has made a defense. The WBC hasnt gave pbf a mandatory to defend against
