Roach has stated that Mayweather is the toughest fight for Manny.:deal I guess his previous statement was just trash talking. Check Insider Notebook: Mayweather Pacquiao Edition on a scene about boxing.
If people actually read Roach's full comments, rather than little snippets, they'd understand his point. Stylistically, this is Manny's toughest fight. Physically, it's an easier fight than Cotto or Mosley.
Mayweather also have the best chance to catch Manny with an unseen punch. Which could cause a knockout. Mayweather is being seriously overlooked by most fight fans because of biasedness or plain hate. Don't let emotions judge common sense in regards to Mayweather. The dude isn't undefeated for fighting tomato cans. If Floyd is to be belittled then what about Manny fighting old fighters=Morales, Barrera, Delahoya. Limited fighters such as =Diaz, Hatton. Fighters that was recently knocked out such as Cotto, Hatton.
hmm I don't see Roger saying that Manny is Floyds toughest fight.. actually I see Floyd saying that it is going to be easy work. Floyds already in their heads.. Floyd by late ko
Mayweather is Pac's toughest opponent in terms of skill. I'm pretty sure that's what Roach meant, and I seriously doubt if they are worried about Manny getting beat up.
Contrary to popular belief, I think the same will be true for Mayweather in that Pac will be his toughest opposition to date.
Mayweather does'nt have that type of mindset, but he's certainly capable of inflicting a beatdown.......Buddy McGirt had to throw on the towel early in the fight to save Arturo Gatti, who had no complaints about the stoppage. My feeling is that Mayweather is going to be hitting Pacquiao often and hard.....which could lead to Freddy having to make that decision of saving his fighter from an unceccesary beating.
Nice sig....Weak point Floyd without a doubt is mannys toughest fight, but its due to style, not mental game. If floyd can stick to gameplan he wins this EASY on points. He ****s up once in a corner...Manny KO or late (oscar style) stoppage
