This is a quote from Hatton's lawyer. So Ray Hatton claims team Mayweather reached out to Hatton's legal team. Meanwhile, Hatton's lawyer is on record as saying that he asked Schaefer to contact Mayweather. Meanwhile, Mayweather came out and said that he never contacted team Hatton about a rematch. My guess is that Ray Hatton tried to use the Mayweather ploy to force Manny's hand. It's no surprise that Scoop jumped all over this. He has zero journalistic integrity. What am I talking about? Scoop is in no way a real journalist. Therefore, you can't expect him to have journalistic integrity.
