Whom of the following could Mayweather have knocked out (T/KO) if he had fought his hardest to stop them?

    • Cotto (2012)
      • May: 179 (128 PP), 26%; Cotto: 105 (75), 21%
      • ~117-111
    • Mosley (2010)
      • May: 208 (123 PP), 46%; Mosley: 92 (46), 27%
      • ~119-109
    • Marquez (2009)
      • May: 290 (105 PP), 59%; Marquez: 69 (48 ), 12%
      • ~119-108
    • Baldomir (2006)
      • May: 199 (141), 43%; Baldomir: 79 (67), 12%
      • ~120-108

Edit: Subtract the number of votes for each option from the total voters to get the number who don't think FM could have knocked out the fighter.

Baldomir yes if May turned it up from r1
    Marquez hell no granite chin
    Mosley No
Coto Yes. that flush right left uppercut in the 12th was already showing signs of him being completely done. If Floyd had stepped it up from 9-12, Cotto would have been done.

    Mosley, and Marquez.

    TKO's, not KO's.

Perhaps Marquez, although he never seemed badly hurt either.

I think the gas was turned on against Mosley and I can't see an argument for Cotto at all.

Kat on Eastenders has epic tits btw.

Moseley was in survival mode, he wasn't going to get ko. Cotto put up a fight till the end and got hurt a few times for his effort. He could have stopped cotto, vets that don't want to get stopped usually wont. Those other guys I don't believe he would have stopped.

From what I saw Floyd stood in front of Cotto and hit him with just about everything he could, he had him buzzed in the 12th round but so did Haye against Valuev, doesn't mean he carried him.

All of the first three, but I think Cotto was too sharp so at max was a 10-30% chance. (Current) Mosley would have been sparked if he had an ounce of desire to win. No knock on Mosley, but he isn't the great champion he used to be. Marquez definitely due to his heart and the physical mismatch, but FMJ never even got him in trouble due to wanting to get rounds and JMM's intelligence. Baldomir was never in trouble. Baldo couldn't make it a fight let alone get KTFO. Baldo was too big, too strong, too tough, and too slow/crude. Also FMJ hadn't really settled into 147. That was an "Iron Boy" clinic.
