Wondering if any other fighter in history has gone 16+ years or more without a loss.

This is the same guy who took a two year retirement in between and has been one of the least active boxers compared to others so the answer is no

Case in point, RIcardo Lopez was undefeated in 16+ years but has more wins.

    Frazier only had 37 fights.

SRL had massive lay offs in his career and only had 40 fights.

    Your point being ?

Its difficult to respect many aspects of his record, with all the layoffs and retirements and general infrequent fighting. Frankly the number of defences is more relevent, I am sure you can find some guy who had 1 win went to jail for 10 years came out and won again, that shouldn't count as being undefeated for 10 years. Mayweather has been pro for nearly 16 years you say but averages 2 fights a year. I can think of guys who fight more in a month than he does in a year. So its not that impressive. Also some of his opponents were grossly washed up like mosley or grossly beat down by the time they met him. He is still the best around today but SRR 129-1/2 is alot more impressive than 45-0 with cherry picked opponents and ducking the best. I find pacman's record more impressive at this point. He has losses but he has 20+ more fights and have ducked no one

Robinson only had one loss (Lamotta, who he beat 5 times and stopped once) jn his first 132 pro fights. Mayweather lost to DeLaHoya and Castillo in the eyes of many. What Robinson did thru his first 132 fights easily trumps Mayweathers career... all of the Mayweathers combined.

I cant think of a boxer that would have an undefeated record with the resume of floyd (noting the time in which floyd fought them). This generation maybe BHOP of all time you could prob pick from a pretty decent list but they would all be ATG (duran is the first that comes to mind)

I could think of plenty of guys who would have went undefeated with Floyd's resume had they hand picked the same guys and even retired like he did .Especially with the opponents above 130 ...

    Plenty of ATG fighters.

Floyd Sr, who is levels below Jr, gave SRL all he could handle. Why do people keep insisting that SRL would run through or make it look easy against Jr is beyond me :huh
