I wish I could take evidence from an alternate reality where Pacquiao requested testing and Floyd refused and then post it here.

I see your point.....however, If Floyd really wanted the fight and if you absolutely believe everything the man says then you have to agree his actions make NO sense.

I never said PAC was an easy fight......I never said PAC wasn't on Floyd's level or Manny was a midget. That was all Floyd's mouth going off and people remembered.

So when Floyd and PAC hit a roadblock on BLOOD testing it came as a surprise. PAC agreed to unlimited random urine testing all the way up to the day of the fight. The Floyd stance on blood testing and how aggressive it was became the issue. Why? I have no idea.....Blood testing is the LEAST effective means to catch someone who is doping.

So why Floyd felt the aggressive blood tests were that important to dead the fight back then is beyond me and everyone else who wasn't fooled by what Floyd was doing. It was obvious......he didn't want to make the fight at that time. Why else would he all the sudden decide he wanted to clean up boxing.....why all the sudden did Floyd think he'd switch up his negotiation tactics for THIS fight vs any of the 40 fights before Manny?

And that is where the defamation of character comes in. Pac at the time was considered by many number one on the p4p list and still met Mayweather half way. It was all part of the negotiations. Pac was not going to let Mayweather dictate the negotiations. Not only was Mayweather trying to dictate the negotiations he was also accusing Pac of cheating. Sounds to me like Mayweather didn't want the fight.

Exactly right. When Floyd stepped up and actually made efforts to move this fight forward instead of talk about bullsh*t $40 million offers or how Manny has to leave Bob.....or how PAC has to sign with Mayweather before the fight can be made was all smoke and mirrors....Stall tactics....deflections....ways to drag this Soap Opera on for the last 6 years until he was finally ready..

I say this now like I said it 5-6 years ago. If Floyd really wanted the fight he would not have made the negotiations public. Floyd is usually on the hush about negotiations and if he wanted RDT he would not called Pac a cheater in public.

And he also publicly stated that "the only reason this fight is happening now is because of me". Like it's some big surprise? No joke........Why do you think everyone's been blaming you for the last 6 years? Floyd would surprise more people if he came out and exclaimed he was a boxer.:patsch

Because he thought Manny was on steroids, and it's not terribly unrealistic to think that. This is a guy who carried his punching power up through weight classes in such an unprecidented way. Floyd probably saw Pacquiao carrying power up when he himself lost power as he moved up, and thought it was suspect, so he wanted testing on both of them.

Call it concern, call it 'being scared', I think Floyd just wanted both of them to be clean so that he wasn't done dirty because he wanted to be a man and just fight someone he thought was on steroids. It'd be better to suggest drug testing than to just leave it to chance, especially in a combat sport.

Common sense......So a good comparison is how Mike Tyson handled REAL concerns and went about negotiations in a way to actually move the deal forward and NOT block it with unnecessary insults, accusations or demands.

Mike had concerns about Evander. He didn't go out and begin bashing Holyfiled as his way to "help negotiations".....Tyson quietly requested the additional post fight testing and professionally negotiated the fight.

This was MIKE TYSON! If he can go about negotiations respectfully and in a professional manner then we all know Floyd can......Sh*t....he's done it before....over 40+ times.

His timing to begin all these new initiatives with negotiation "strategies", creating new drug tests and making unprecedented demands seemed a bit obvious.

So........You mean to tell me you don't believe Floyd? How long have you been watching this sport? That might answer my question.

Floyd was talking about wanting to fight PAC before the demands, accusations, new drug tests and all that other garbage this ordeal has spawned.

It was Mayweather who talked up the fight and said it was going to be easy to all the sudden change his stripes and began contradicting all of that tough talk the public all held him accountable for.

Manny's only one punch KO above 140 was Ricky. PAC's carried his speed and stamina with him all the way up to his highest weight, but his KO's and the effects of his punches have diminished as he's faced bigger men.

It's a myth that Manny is or ever was this "MONSTROUS POWER PUNCHER". That was all trumped up BS that stemmed from some special drug that Alex Ariza supplied PAC with through his special shakes. Apparently Roger knew all about the special ingredient (A side of Meff) that made PAC this invincible that made him bullet proof. I swear I couldn't make this up if I tried.

Fact is Manny has gotten most of his STOPPAGES by breaking down his opponents with a relentless type of pressure......not by sleeping them with ROIDED up power.

Let's say it was PAC who went about negotiations the exact same way Floyd did. Where he publicly accused Floyd of cheating, pulled into question his character, reputation and career accomplishments......Then not just DEMAND Floyd prove his accusation true by taking not just extra tests....but MANNY's OWN TESTS that he introduced to the sport of boxing. ...

You know PAC would be looked at exactly the way Floyd was and still is.......as though he was the one preventing the fight from happening. And people would all be saying PAC was the coward instead of putting that label on Floyd.

Here's the problem, Pacquiao didn't run the sport, his fights generated less money than Floyd's and he didn't tell Floyd to **** off. Instead, he made up a bunch of nonsense about why he couldn't undergo random blood testing.

    I agree

The testing was a way of ducking in my opinion

The reason is simple, he believed Manny was on PEDS, I guarantee you if Manny was not on PEDS he would of accepted the offer. Like Floyd says, who turns down a 25 million drug test!

WADA also doesn't do testing. They have agencies that do the testing. USADA is one of them. USADA, and every other WADA code testing agencies try their best to accomadate the athletes. They are not going to take blood tests close to the fight if they don't have to. On the other hand, you can't have a predetermined cutoff date. That defeats the purpose of random testing. Even if the cutoff date was the issue, Pacquiao was offered a 14 day cutoff and turned it down. And you can try to argue the blood tests aren't effectvie, but then you have to ask yourself why Pacquiao made Rios and Algeiri undergo random blood and urine testing.
