This fight might be mandated by the WBC ... is this fair ... and what would you guys think of PBF if he were to take a mandatory shot at Berto? The WBC stands to lose some money if they strip or force PBF to vacate the title. He still has the ring magazine title ... should he defend that?
I would'nt blame Floyd if he were to vacate the WBC belt because he has the Ring Magazine belt which you don't have to pay a sanctioning fee for:deal so Floyd should spread the love and vacate the WBC title.
He won't have to face his mandatory for forever. He's a WBC Super Champion, so he only needs to face a mandatory once every 18 months. Hatton counted as a mandatory, so he's still got another year to go before he needs to face Berto. I wouldn't be surprised at all if WBC finds a way around it altogether though, making Berto the "regular" champion and then giving Mayweather extra time before he has to fight him.
Berto is still too green for a fight with floyd. If they were to fight right now, berto would be in over his head. Floyd would just carefullly pick him apart.
