yeah people extending that "protect your self at all times" in this case. the ref said stop punching.

from now on whoever fights floyd better have his guard up during the ring walk, in the corner between rounds, and in the locker room after the fight rofl

He hit hit with two hooks, a right and a left to gattis ears, then gatti looks at the ref and was blasted out. Those cobwebs never went away, and IMO, and anyone not a Floyd cumguzzler KNOWS this should have been a DQ and a mandatory rematch from that very moment.

Floyd is a cheating disgrace, and his fans who don't see this must marvel at the taste of his sperm.:deal

so much for wanting a clean sport and fighting on an even playing field when floyd himself exploits every opportunity in and out of the ring.

I remember that fight and even had an argument with one my friends about it until we watch the replay over and over so he could clearly see and hear the ref say stop punching...

Glad to see intelligent, non-*****s commenting now!

And yes it is correct to realize that the KD of Gatti ****ed him up for the rest of the fight. Note how many puches from Floyd he evades in Rd 1 till the cheap shot. He didn't evade too many punches after the KD.

And re Ortiz, he seemed like in that Rd or the one before he started to come on and fight more the way he did v Berto. We will never know what would have happened if the sucker punches weren't thrown.

And re Floyd, we also had him punch Mosley when Mos held out his hands to touch. If he didn't want to do that, just shake your head "no", or say "**** off." But don't do that kinda ****, especially to a venerable old man of boxing.

Floyd is consistent and very foul.

Even Pacquiao got tired of the "friendly" **** with Mosley. He just didn't start manning up when he should have. Otherwise, we would have had the 1st KO of Mosely ever, and people would be having a larger hype behind him. Instead, he did a bull**** fight with Mosely AND looked worse than ever (arguably). Did any of us want to see this same **** again, really? Mayweather was pissed after that head shot and took his opportunity to win, legally, simple as that. How upset did Ortiz look with the loss, which he got at least 2.5 million? He had no ****ing heart, which he wanted us to believe.

Well if you are implying fixes, I think you got it all wrong. Pac KDed Mos and if he could have caught him he would have KOed him. But Mos for the first time basicallly ran away the whole rest of the fight. ANd pac said he had a well known leg cramp problem.

Re Ortiz and FLoyd, I did several threads where I posted stuff indicating this was the ole flip flop and was a fix. After getting hit the first cheap shot who doesn't look at the puncher and get his hands up or go after him or something?

It's a lame excuse. A truism in boxing, but that doesn't erase the foul.

    Good point.

Are u trying to say that if it wasnt for a sucker punch that knockdown gatti, gatti would have a chance? lolol Please log off stupid. And btw the ref say stop 1 time but didnt come to break it up in which any true boxing fans would know it doesn't mean floyd should have stop punching. The ref job is break up the fighters or fighter in which case floyd for holding gatti behind the head but the ref didnt do it so who's fault is that? Gatti and the ref. Even larry mercent agree and he hates mayweather more then anybody here.
