Mayweather v Gatti. Ref did say "Stop Punching" and May sucker punched him

Ortiz was lookin to the ref. Dumb move but it was a dirty shot and was looking for the ref, probably hoping to take a point away from Floyd. Obviously it's Cortez though and oddly enough he wasn't even watching the 2 people he was getting paid good money to keep an eye on.

 

Wow, I almost forgot about that one. Stop punching and PBF continues. I mean, the Ortiz headbutt could have been brutal if it had landed flush. He wants to say sorry and you are to say okay. I would be pissed. I would be there to hurt and put you to sleep mentality mode. That **** was intentional due to getting frustrated and it was only the first part of the fight. What would have happened as the fight progressed? He wasn't winning this fight and he was not heating up like the Berto fight. He was getting outworked and backed up by a 34 year old. A rematch would only hold up the Pac fight to happen. Ortiz knows what it is to be outclassed and hurt from PBF so a rematch will not solve anything. He would lose again.

 

Floyd is a snake and looks for rare opportunities to hit his opponents when they're defenseless. A true warrior has some degree of honor but obviously it's Floyd Coward Mayweather.

Regardless if the shots are legal or not, they are immoral and dirty. I was a fan of Mayweather until last night and will never pay or watch one of his fights again, except to see Manny rip his fukin head off, or if he has the balls to fight Martinez one day, which he doesn't.

 

Well then Mayweather should have said no and told Ortiz to fuk off rather then embrace him only to hit him as Ortiz was backing away waiting for the ref.

 

Yea but at that moment Ortiz was gaining momentum and was getting closer to landing his power shots. Emanual stewart even admitted this. I've never seen Mayweather get touched and roughed up like that inside 4 rounds.

 

The only person to blame in this incident is the terrible ref for being unclear and indecisive with his instructions.

Speculation on the outcome without the foul is irrelevant. A fighter can't just pull that **** off and say "yeah, well, even without it I would have won, so it's OK!" A foul is a foul.
