Ditto. Malignaggi, JUdah and Kotelnik are all good wins. Maidana and Peterson were excellent wins.

He would like to but he would lose money on a fight in Vegas on taxes alone, never mind the fact our ppvs cost £15, maybe push for £20 and im not sure he could charge ppv in America for a fight staged here and ppv fights over there cost near on £50-£60 i think. As much as id like him here, a guy who makes a lot of decisions based around money isnt going to pick the one which returns lowest i wouldnt have thought

    Does he deserve it? No
    Will it happen? Probably
Will I watch it? Day after
    Why? Because someone will lose.

Honestly the only reason this fight is interesting to me is because of Khan's hand speed, he does have good offence and he is usually in entertaining fights which most people cant deny. I don't like Khan and only reason I will watch it is to see either lose.

I'd love to see Floyd utterly destroy Khant. Can see it been quick, Floyd by KO in round 4.

    He lost to Peterson!!

Peterson beat the **** out of him,had him running around the ring like a rabbit in headlights.Khan didnt have a clue what to do on the inside either,he got badly exposed in that fight although people still like to say he won.The best he could have got out of that was a draw and dont start with the Peterson ped bull**** and the mystery man with the hat.

He was very lucky not to be stopped against Maidana aswell, the ref was very generous to him as the pampered fighter and let him continue for 2 rounds even though his legs were gone.

I still think of Khan as British,European level and very lucky to have had the career hes had up until now.

Should he be in line for a crack at Floyd Mayweather,no ****ing way.

    Gennady Golovkin
    Lucas Matthysse
    Tim Bradley
    Manny Pacquiao

Those four guys on Floyds record would be an awesome way to go out of the sport.Amir Khan Hellllll No

Peterson was on peds though ??? and Khan had those points taken away which was riddulous

The ref didn't stop the Maidana fight and he could of done, but Khan winning the 12th was justification for the ref not stopping it.

    Khan is british level.....OMG

Khan was justifiably docked points for pushing, the fact of the matter is he didnt know how to deal with the inside pressure of Lamont Peterson and continued to push everytime Lamont got on the inside and hit him to the body, the points docked were justified its not like the ref just randomly docked him without warning.

As far as the Maidana fight goes he should have been stopped,it took him two rounds to get his legs back and the ref let him hang on for dear life any other ref would have stopped him on his feet.

Khan had trouble at domestic level,he never won a lonesdale belt or fought for a European title.

Why is that do you think?

Neither did hatton , khan just copied wickys get rich quick scheme.
Theses two seemed to have made it ok not to prove your the best in your weight division in your own country but are deserving of world title shots :-:)verysad , as stated before if every one played our sport like this there would be no sport

It's funny but... has anyone noticed that Khan seems to get chances when knocked down that other guys don't.

Limmond - Given a ten count but still allowed to continue
Prescott - Gets up wibbling and wobbling around like a baby giraffe. Other fights would have been stopped, Khant is allowed to continue.
Garcia - Gets sparked in Round 3. Gets counted to 8, on his feet, doesn't raise his gloves at all and the ref actually stops counting and waits for Khant to raise his gloves.
Maidana - Another fight where Khants legs went and it should have been stopped. This time, Maidana failed to capitalise.

This thread will go around in circles but in my opinion if you are Olympic sliver medalist, former world champion and have beat the likes of Malignaggi, Judah,Kotelnik, Maidana then your above domestic level....

God know one is saying Khan is a HOF or anything and he has lots of faults but there is so much crap that is spoken about him its insane....

Lets be honest here though although Ricky didnt win a Lonsdale belt and never fought for a European title he never encountered the type of problems Khan did at domestic level, getting floored by Steffi Bull and Willie Limond is embarrassing,a young Ricky Hatton would have smoked those two in a couple of rounds coming up as a prospect. Then he goes and gets destroyed by Breidis Prescott in 50 seconds,Ricky was impressive in his rise to a world title he beat up and stopped alot of good domestic and European operators.

    You cant compare the two....

The two best performances of his career were against Kotelnik and Malignaggi, neither guy can punch.

    Do the math...

    EXACTLY

Those are the only type of fighters he looks good against.

This is the reason I say hes not world level.

If you want to see how khan v mayweather goes.. watch kindelan vs khan..

khans style hasn't changed since the olympics.. floyd would just move and counter just like kindelan does... you'l see after a round kindelan times him.. even drops his hands half the fight and just counters..
