This is why Floyd wants to fight Amir Khan.

Danny Garcia - 18,000 likes on Facebook
Lucas Mathysse - 13,000 likes on Facebook
Amir Khan - 790,000 likes on Facebook

Danny Garcia - 56,000 twitter followers
Lucas Mathysse - 3,170 twitter followers
Amir Khan - 1.3 million twitter followers

Work out who the draw is.

yes and not to mention the number of threads on boxing forums about Khan, listen we all no how the fight would go but floyd knows we would pay to see Amir get sparked and therefore its a smart move to fight Khan, Floyd is in it for the money not legacy, if it was legacy he would have done anything to make Manny happen and also taken on a few other guys instead of lesser guys, if khan wins and floyd wins it wont suprise me if it happens, Khan is a massive draw in the UK and well know in America it makes financial sense even if khan has done nothing to deserve the fight

All those likes on Khans facebook page are mostly people joining so they can leave abusive comments, have a look on there.Just because people are following him on twitter and facebook doesnt make him a viable candidate to fight Floyd.Floyd Mayweather is a smart guy and he knows in his heart of hearts this fight wont get over with the enthusiasts and people who actually know the sport.Hel have a hard time selling Khan as a worthy opponent and will take alot of heat in the build up,I dont think this fight will happen. It makes no sense whatsoever.

Khan stands no chance with Mayweather and its 100% in Mayweather's favour should this fight. Ask yourself sincerely whether Khan can defeat Brook, Alexander, Bradley, Matthyse, Alvarado, Rios, Lundy, Ajose etc. He scarcely escaped from his last fight did Khan.

It doesn't matter whether its to hate or like hes a very popular fighter who people have an opinion on. I agree he'd have a hard time selling it the hardcore fans as we all know khan doesn't have a chance but if he were to beat alexander he'd have a title... floyd could then claim he wants the belts at 147 ...

I defintley would route for Floyd but can't slate anybody for wanting to fight the best .I remeber Floyd Mayweather Sr saying when fighters take a hard punch that's one of the reasons they retire they don't beleive they can take another big shot .Quote
To be a champion you have to beleive in yourself when nobody else will .

Call it dillusionism but Khan has hit the canvas don't know many rime .
He still beleives in himself that he's got half a chance against Floyd .F--k all wrong with that .It would be a huge event and he'd get a big payday .

F--k sake olympic silver medalist still thinks he's got atleast half a chance against Mayweather .It would be huge in the UK . If it makes money it makes sense .
Floyd Mayweather .Think Khan gets sparked though .

He doesn't deserve the pay day though that's the thing, let him beat at least one decent guy in his division first, one impressive win may just have a few people believing but as of now he doesn't deserve jack ****.Hes not a world champion and is moving into a new weight class,I don't think he will make it past Devon anyway and even though Devon isn't a puncher I still see him knocking Khan out.

If Khan enjoys the weight at 147 and looks good vs Alexander and beats him, he has a better chance than most including The flat footed Ghost.

People can say what they want, Khan's style would give Floyd problems, to say Khan has no chance vs Floyd is B.S
