Mayweather v Maidana - Predictable outcome?

    Hi


    Why should the result be any different from Maidana v Khan or Maidana v Alexander?


    If Maidana was unable to stop either of the above, what realistic chance does he have of causing an upset?

    Pretty much all Mayweather fights are predictable. Wide 12 round decision.

    The obvious difference is that he'll have Garcia in his corner for this one. That isn't to say that I think he'll win but the trainer change plus the win over Broner will certainly boost his confidence and improve his chances.

    If Khan can evade him for 10 rounds
    Alexander can hold him for 12 rounds

    Then the best defensive fighter of this era can quite easily stroll around him for 12 rounds.

    I love Maidana but this ain't a great fight for him. Hope he doesn't retire afterwards.

    Maidana knocks him down just like he knocked down Broner. Maidana has the blueprint for the shoulder roll defense.

    Maidana is going to fight to win and not to survive. Sure, Mayweather is a far superior boxer but Maidana has the power to change a fight.
