Both men were considered beasts at this weight (although Floyd's prime weight is probably 130). Both men lightning quick, Mosely has the better power, however, Floyd threw a lot more combinations with pin point accuracy at this weight. WHo would you pick?

Floyd beats Mosley at any weight at any point in his career. He simply doesn't respond well to guys who box. He's a mid range fighter who gauges distance with his jab and leaps in with hard hooks to the head and body. He's never had great defense and his ability on the inside isn't great. Floyd would use superior footwork and reflexes to box his way to a decision. He's by far the more technically superior fighter. Mosley's only hope would be to try and mug Floyd, but that simply isn't his game and Floyd has been there and done that before.

Mosley was a monster at LW. Faster and more power than Floyd. He had an iron chin as well.

    Just Youtube it FFS!

Mosley was a monster at 135. One of the best ever at the weight. He was a powerfl puncher with lightning fast handspeed. Floyd was very accurate and fast but hard to see how he could stand up to Mosleys physical power and punching power.

I think Mosley wins the first half of the fight and Mayweather adjusts to take the second half... the decision would be close and controversial, i might edge toward mosley winning on the cards through aggression

Hmmm very good fight this would have been.

I dont know. Mosley was a beast at LW. He was so damn fast and powerful.
But PBF was also good at this weight. However this is the weight where alot of people thoguht PBF lost a fight in against Castillo.
Hmmm i think Mosley beats PBF in a FOTY candidate. Just too much speed and power for PBf to just outthink Mosley.

prime for prime.....tough fight but I think Floyd's movement wins him the fight here. BTW, Shane is the reason this fight never took place at 135, he turned the fight down

Yea to pursue a fight with Hoya who was the biggest money man around. And he got the fight a year later so, do the math. Hoya was considered much more dangerous for Shane at the time. The truth is they've never campaigned in the same weight class until recently. Shane already was having trouble with the weight and moving up when Floyd and Arum started talking.
