The United States Anti-Doping Agency (USADA), the body responsible for the Olympic-style blood testing that was contractually agreed upon by welterweight boxers Floyd Mayweather Jr and Victor Ortiz for their September 17 fight, have released their findings regarding the ten separate and random tests that each fighter was subjected to. Nine ‘sample collections’ occurred with no advance notice while the tenth occurred immediately after the Las Vegas contest.

So they tested Floyd for urine Sept 15. What happened to blood testing all the way up to the night of the fight? Isn't that what Floyd was demanding when it comes to Pac?

You can't be serious. Its called random testing for a reason. These fighters don't know if they are going to be giving urine, blood, or both at the same time when the USADA reps show up. :-(

Floyd is demanding random blood testing all the way up to the fight. Whether they tested him for blood on the 15th is irrelevant as floyd would have been unaware when they came on that set date whether he would be giving blood or Urine or even both. This is what makes the testing so effective, the whole point of randomness.

So Ortiz was blood tested 10 days out. Mayweather was blood tested 12 days out.

Each were blood tested 5 times in a span of 3 months.

Mayweather has been blood tested his last 2 fights, blood testing has not seemed to effect his performance in the ring or ability to train.

Yep and that is why Manny should put pen to paper and take the damn test. USADA doesn't have to blood test him right before the fight bc they compare all blood test samples to one another. They will not blood test either guy the day before the damn fight but they do have the option to do so.
