Pac didnt just make Flyweight. He wasnt able to just make the weight. He was the lineal Flyweight Champion of the world. Indisputable, the man who beat the man. And then dominated a strong Welterweight champion. If that's not the most or one of the top 3 most impressive boxing feats ever show me another Flyweight champion who was that good as a Welterweight. By the way Pacquiao first started out at 98 pounds. He put weights in his pockets to increase his weight on the scales so the local commissions would let him fight. You cant really construct an argument for FMJ being a greater pound for pound fighter than Pacquiao. Like Max Kellerman said, if you do you will simply lose the argument. Like Hagler/Duran the only argument for the bigger man is that he won H2H. And that argument will fall flat on its face.
PAC needs absolute top work rate to convince FANS (not judges) he is winning rounds, in that kind of matchup. I still think PAC won his match with Mayweather.
Even worse for pac he was srill going life and death with jmm and waa far more limited and reckless back then. Pbf would have picked him apart and beats any version of pac.
No it wasn't at no point was pac favored to beat pbf the closest it got was 50/50 pbf was usually always the favorite at most books.
I had May beating pac 8-4 maybe 9-3 can't remember only watched twice. Mayweather is in the brotherhood though
