No way Smith and Nelson would go an on all expenses jolly to Los Angeles for the announcement if Sky didn't know they'd got the fight. To be fair they probably will do a better job with it than BT or BN could at the moment.

Money to be made here. £12M fee. Charge £30 for PPV - they'll do between 1.8 and 2 million sales here so even after everything is paid and transferred into Floys and Manny's bank accounts whichever broadcaster does it should be comfortably ahead. I do agree that I think it'll be Sky. Already kinda been hyping it on SSN and sending folk to LA to cover the press conference suggests they know it's in the bag.

No chance they will do that many sales. The fight will be on at 4am so your average casual fan wont be staying up to watch it. Hopefully theres another sky card on may 2nd in the evening then double it up with the big fight. Cant see it being any higher than last years one of £15-£20

I think it will hit the 1.8M sales mark.

What is BT's boxing cv? Have they run big PPVs?

Ricky Hatton vs. Mayweather did 1.2 million PPV sales in the UK and that was on late.

ESPN showed a Klitschko fight a few years ago. BT are showing Total Combat but that's their only foray into live/as live boxing so far. I get the feeling that they have an arrangement with Boxnation that allows them to show highlights of Frank's shows if they allow Boxnation to have the first option on certain fights.

Back on topic there is no way Smith and Nelson are being flown to Vegas if Sky haven't got the fight. The announcement will I presume be on Ringside tomorrow.

Froch Groves II got 900,000 buys, and was at 10pm UK time. I really don't see it beating that at all.

no chance it will be that low.

sky will give this fight a huge push, people will buy this.

eddie tweeted that their will be some announcements on ringside so I am expecting to see it confirmed tomorrow.
