I know alot of people don't like the thought of this but just think if Pacquiao has a good performance at 140 and looks like he carried his speed, movement, and power up that far - then a fight between he and former p4p champion is highly likely. Especially at a catch weight at or around the low 140's (143) ... i'm sure that Floyd can come down to that weight and i'm sure if Pac defeats Hatton ... his fans would create the buzz and the boxing writers and enthusist will follow suit.
If Pac beats Hatton i could see Floyd coming out of retirement and fighting Pac instead of Cotto/Margo. For now I would pick Floyd over Pac UD. May have to re-evaluate after a Pac/Hatton fight depending on how Pac handles Hatton.
i don't think this fight will ever happen, but if it did would be around 143-144 and imo Mayweather takes a clear ud over Pac
I agree. What worrys me is that if Pac beat's Hatton he will be P4P number 1 no doubt what so ever. So i can see Floyd coming out of retirement to fight the man that took his mantle instead of fighting the more threatening Cotto/Margo. Im not saying it will happen but i wouldn't be suprised if Floyd done this and tried to convince himself and other's that Pac is more threatening than Cotto because Pac is number 1 P4P.
I don't see this fight happening. For one Pac says 135 is it for him as far as moving up in weight and I agree that 135 is best for him to top out at. Two, if Floyd comes back (again) to take on a guy moving up in weight while avoiding all the tough fights in the welterweight division he is asking for and will receive a lot of flak and lose a lot of respect. Right now he is retired and says there is nothing left for him to accomplish despite Margo and Cotto just waiting to get him in the ring. To feel that Pac is a threat (not even in his division) PLUS having to lose weight to make the fight................well something is seriously wrong with that picture.
