If he needs the money so bad then why lose $600k to missing weight. Plus he has ALOT of assets which he at least claims are already paid for. He also refutes the IRS issues.

Pacs great, Floyds great. Both can go down as the greatest of their era and the winner of this has a place amongst Robinson, Leonard, Duran etc At least in my eyes.

If Pac beats Yuri, I'm not going to be suprised to see the comments.

I'm not going to completely forget about the concessions. Ultimately Pac has got everything he wants and should be more flexible. The only concession he has made is to give one blood test 24 days pre fight instead of 30. I think it's ridiculous given the magnitude of this fight.

I'm using my famed logic on the 10mil issue and I'm playing devils advocate on all the points being discussed.

Did Mayweather pull a fast one? He's got supposed IRS issues and gave up $600k. He immediately requested 154. He won't weigh in unofficially when he always has. No it's not obvious. I think its a shame the other side of the argument isn't obvious to you.

Right, as long as no one has else has anything they want to ask or say to me, I'm out of here and won't be back until next month with my Mosley v Berto pictures. This debate isn't going anywhere and the forum's become stale and boring imo.

    Take it easy guys.

No one is even budging on this debate and it's gone on long enough. Like Pac vs Floyd we have reached the end. The debate is now OFF. achilles will search for his 8th debating win against a future opponent to be named - its looking like robpalmer for the British Forum Title. Fans will have to wait and see but achilles will still keep the March 13th date.

I know this is distracting from the main issue but anyone who thinks Mayweather can't make 147 easily after the "10 million er lb" clause needs sectioning. The fact its in there tells you he''s OK at 147 without a shadow of a doubt.

I have to admit on the drug testing I don't like the Mayweathers setting a precident on the issue but I also wonder whether Pac doesn't have something to hide given that he's willing to pass up $40 million because of it.

PS - Gaz - re: PPV numbers. Floyd went up against UFC on the night of his JMM fight. Pac did also but it was a different time slot unlike Floyds. Just something I remembered.

    Pac's PPV cost $60, Mayweather's cost $55.

But seriously, this debate is pointless. The fight should have been signed but it's not. Both fighters/camps are to blame IMO.

I don't remember any comments after Mayweather beat DLH about whether it was suspicious that someone who was 106lbs when they were 16 could win a title at LMW. Why would there be now?

I agree Pac should just take the bloody tests. Using the the magnitude of the fight is a smokescreen though, there have been plenty of big fights before with just the standard drug testing and they were OK. It hasn't suddenly become essential over the last 3 months.

If Floyd thinks Pac is on drugs and wants extra testing then thats his call but saying that big fights suddenly need them is just trying to shoehorn it in for the wrong reason.

I'm glad you're at least starting to come round on the "10 mill per pound" issue because I'd be seriously worried about the faculites of anyone who couldn't piece that situation together,

I don't know what happened in the JMM fight so I was probably too hasty saying Mayweather pulled a fast one but lets just say Pac has his suspicions about what happened and wanted a little insurance and Mayweather was happy to give it.

Both sides ARE pretty clear to me but in this thread you are picking your "battles" in the "war" pretty poorly IMHO and thats why I am disageeing with you on them. You're right, Pac is far from blameless on the testing issue and I probably agree with you on a lot of points but most of our discussion has centred on Mayweather making a weight he can do easily and a few other largely irrelevant 'concessions'.
