So this is definitely the end of them meeting on the March date is it? Will one of them fight on that date still?

It's so hard to see the wood from the tress with all the announcements that have been going on.

The fact even Haymon and Schaefer were trying to convince Floyd to a 24 day cut off speaks realms in my opinion. I'm not going to say any more, as I've been accused of hating in the past, but I'll let other people draw what conclusions they will from the events.

24 days without a blood test until after the fight, a fighter could juice themselves up like Hulk Hogan and not get found out. Manny should have just called his bluff.

A couple of my mates had already booked up with thomas cook:scaredas: there big Mayweather fans & one of them knows Mayweather well, even he's in shock, he called an hour ago & is absolutly shattered at the fact that in his opinion floyd's bottled it.

We both went to the Cotto/Pac fight & he was with Floyd Sr leaving the arena & he told me all Floyd Sr kept going on about was how can this little guy keep knocking out these big fighters. Floyd Sr hated ti when the whole arena after the fight just chanted "We want Floyd" We want Floyd" must have really sunk the doubts into his head now that for the 1st time his son was the "Hunted" & not the "Hunter"

It's actually ****in insane that he's bailed out of this fight what with all the money he could have made, but they really are a deluded shower of **** or are they, now that hatton promotions is the euro arm of GBP expect to see Floyd fight one/both of the Hatton's, it's all about the easy no risk $$$$$ as floyd keeps reminding us.

Like you i'am crushed, thank **** i never booked my flight as i told both my mates that this fight won't happen reason being that the negotiations went like clockwork but then Floyd said he would'nt fight in Dallas???? & then he said he would'nt fight in May???? i thought hang-on!!! but Manny called his bluff & said OK March it is then:good then panic must have set in & we get these loonie test demands. sez it all really, he just did'nt fancy the job against a one dimensional fighter after all did he.

I've got Floyd signed fight posters & gloves but know they just seem tarnished, judge who was the mediator said to the mayweathers why not just apologise for your remarks about ped's & the Mayweather's said NO!!!:scaredas:

Least we forget that Floyd bugged out of the DLH re-match did'nt he:bbb

Let's see if Floyd's next opponent is subject to random blood tests.

    its all for hype

a fight of this magnitude needs good time and a good grudge between the pair for the maxium pay per view potential

dont worry there is too much money for this fight not too be made

it will happen late 2010 no doubt about it

Been a reader of this site for some time... only decided to sign up to say how dissapointed, like everyone else, i am that this fight isnt going to get made.

Although im a huge fan of both fighters, i've gotta say i cant wait to hear what Mayweathers next excuse is going to be now. Fair enough i know theres 2 sides to every story, but right now it seems like theres only 1 fighter to blame for this non-fight... Mayweather.

You cant argue with Mayweathers skill in the ring, but equally, one thing that speaks for itself is Pacquiao's heart... if only Mayweather had that same heart, maybe there would've been alot more high profile fights in the welterweight division over the past few years.

Oh, and if you think im paying PPV to watch Mayweather hit a punch bag (Hatton#2), you're avin a laugh.

    Sort it out FFS!!!

At the moment the only person to comment on this fight has been Bob Arum. lets wait and see what GBP or Mayweather have to say before all blame is placed on Floyd.

Do you guys realise that testing in the WWE is stricter than in Boxing.

Persoanlly I think Mayweather should fight Manny no matter what, its better for his legacy if he beats Manny at his best even if that is on steroids. But this doesnt change the fact that its Manny who is saying NO to a Mayweather demand and he should jsut call his bluff and take the tests.

Rob, you must be joking - because you've said this with apparent sincerity. Do you think most WWE performers get those physiques through natural work?

They are both as pathetic as each other. They disgust me. It shows you how pathetic boxers have become when $40mil stands in the way of their egos. They aren't the only ones letting good fights fall apart.

Like we got turned off the heavies and went to the lower weights, maybe we'll have to go even lower in the weights to show appreciation. I'm talking about guys like Marquez and Vasquez who earn less money but put on better fights.

Ye i agree with yer, the ego's deff played this off once the fuse was lit by that bag of **** Mayweather Sr, it's insane is'nt it, but words start wars don't they. We all know Pac's camp are ego driven maybe not as much as Mayweathers but even so this is a businness & prize fighters fight for pay.

One part of me wanted pac to cave into Mayweathers demands & call there bluff but another part said NO NO NO,but even if he did i really now believe that the mayweathers would have found something else to scupper this fight the commisions set the rules & governing bodies not some disfuctional deluded ego maniacs like the mayweathers. Unfortantly as we now know the mayweathers did'nt want the fight & boxings a more sadder place for it.

What is the point of mayweather hanging around?????????? even the most blind & deluded of all floyd fans must surely now realise that they've all been spun alone by Mayweather, he'll never fight a WW or anyone of any rank or note, not when HBO allow him to cherry pic smaller foes, all except pacquiao that is:lol: talk about all mouth & no action:deal
