This isn't strictly about legacy vs legacy. Legacy doesn't bring the money in. Pac simply can't contend with Floyds PPV numbers.

I wouldn't really look down on a resume that contained Hernandez, Corrales, Chavez, Castillo x2, Gatti, Mitchell, Judah, DLH, Hatton and Marquez.

Who says I'm looking down on it? I'm still waiting for an answer to my actual question.

They are concessions. At 154 with 10 oz gloves Floyd has fought before, Pac hasn't and would be at a disadvantage there. I don't agree with the fight being at 154 but it would favour Floyd. 50-50 is a HUGE concession when you look at the PPV numbers. It should be 55-45 based on bringing money in and that would make up a good few million extra in the bank.

I've read/heard Schaefer and Roach say they will use 8 oz Reyes. They may have just been referring to Pac but I'm not sure. Also, Floyds got bad hands so he has more protection with 10oz. If he breaks a hand, he is ****ed.

My sentiments exactly. I can't believe I've been drawn on this subject again, despite saying that I wouldn't be. Rob and achilles have always been polarised with their opinion, debating with them is pointless.

Yeah, it would have been a real struggle for Floyd to boil down from 154, a division he's fought in so many times.

Doesn't stand up to scrutiny. There's no point quoting numbers that don't bear any relevance to the situation today.

Pacquiao's two fights since he fought De La Hoya more than contend with the PPV numbers for Mayweather's two fights since he fought De La Hoya.

Well, I don't know why you brought resumes into because it didn't back up your argument. Floyd sells more. End of. Why do you think DLH makes more money, not cos of resume but because he'll sell the fight more than his opponent.

Pacs got great wins. Floyd has too. Beating Hernandez in you 17th fight arguably trumps any of those wins, as does a 154 pound DLH or undefeated Hatton.

    100% correct:good

Once he got his nose into the DLH-PPv $$$$$ trough he intends to stay there & feed on those HBO $$$$$ & he don't give a flying **** what you think about it or him:deal

As long as he can hang in there & feed of the mug money he will:smoke

He's avoided any & all threats to his earning potential since DLH gave him his break hence no Margo/Mosley/Cotto fights at WW only juicy morsals like Hatton & Marquez & as long as the tampax brigade keep cooooooooing over him he'll keep on ****ing them:deal

No they don't. Floyd fought a small JMM and did over 1 million. Floyd holds PPV record with DLH. Floyd vs Hatton did a million in america and another million in the uk.

The numbers don't compare. Floyd has consistently brought the bacon home on PPV.

Even when Floyd wasn't a big PPV fighter, fighting Judah coming off a loss, one dimensional Baldomir etc he was posting over 300k, sometimes over 350k.
