The thread starter is absolutely right. This fight will not be made. Floyd will rationalize why this fight shouldn't be made. In his mind, and in the minds of his fans, Floyd doesn't need this fight to secure his legacy. Floyd doesn't want to have anything to do with Pac. If they agree on the terms of the blood testing, they will disagree about the purse split. If they agree on a purse split, a sudden injury for Mayweather will crop up and terminate any chance of the fight happening. Floyd knows he will lose this fight if it takes place.
All roads in boxing lead to Money. Money don't need PacGwire, it's the other way around. Money's legacy is sealed, PacGwire still has business to attend to.
Pac did not get the memo to NOT negotiate in the media. He just keeps on making comments about the fight to Philippine journalists. This may be the undoing of the fight.
as long as floyd always makes new demand after the other, he can always avoid fighting pacquiao. http://www.eastsideboxing.com/forum/showthread.php?t=228285 http://www.boxingnews24.com/2010/05...l-the-way-up-to-the-fight”-for-pacquiao-bout/
I think it will get made... Pac has atleast 2 fights left and one of those will be Floyd.. he don't need it but he know Fans want them :good
This is why I laugh at those people who buys Floyd's facade of not caring about the public nor legacy. It's all an act. Deep down he care for what people say about him. He envies how people love Pacquiao as a boxer. When you already have the money to secure yourself legacy and recognition comes next. This is also the reason why I think FLoyd will eventually accept the 14 day cut-off and teh fight will be made. Just like how he was backed into a corner with Mosley.
