    He certainly did :good

If Pacquiao gets by Hatton - & thats a big if - then the FMJ/Pac fight should be at a catchweight where both can be 100% so that there is no excuses.

The winner will be definitely the FOTD & the best of their generation. No disputes.

Mayweather UD Pacquiao is my early prediction, lets hope we get to see it.

mayweather would be more greater if he fights at welterweight. a pacquiao win at this time is a good win but nothing as legacy-defining as beating someone like cotto or margarito.

You can ball Cotto up and throw him in the garbage. Floyd's legacy does not rest on a fight with Margarito. Pac-Floyd is the biggest fight in boxing. Most fans assume Floyd will outbox AM, bu that AM has a chance. The mainstream fans do not know who will win between Floyd and PAc. Us fan think Floyd wipes the floor with Pac. We will have to wait and see what happens. I just know Pac nor AM can beat Floyd:bbb

Why does PAc need a catch weight to fight Floyd? Didn't he just beat Dlh up at 147 better than Floyd beat Dlh at 154? lol. Didn't Dlh decide to fight Floyd at 154, and Dlh came in at over 160 for their fight, and Floyd only came away with a supposed SD win over Dlh AT 154 lol?

I think I would rather not see Pac taking on any more retired fighters, unless PBF takes at least two tune-ups and shows the same form he showed against Hatton. Enough with the freak show fights for him, take on a serious contender.

I could see Mayweather-Pacquiao panning out like Hopkins-Trinidad big skilled guy beating power puncher.

Actually I think Hopkins is the fighter of our generation.
The man has been on top of the sport for years and even now he is competitive with the best. That's impressive!
Does anyone think PBF or Pac will be on top of the sport in 10 more years? Don't think so.

If Pac beats Hatton, he will be the greatest fighter of his generation. IMO Pac is already the 2nd greatest with Floyd being 3rd.

i see the point. if pac pulls the impossible....i can see the excuse of "floyd lost due to rustiness." :rofl:rofl

I agree Mayweather hasn't been consistent enough and unless Pac were to rule 140 for years to come and stay undefeated for the next three years or so I don't think they got anything on Hopkins.

If Pac would win then he could be considered the greatest of this generation considering where he came from. I think Pac would win such accolade wihtout even fighting PBF if he would defeat Hatton at LWW and take his belt. Floyd on the other needs to defeat the top 3 LWW to earn the same distinction. A win against Pac might not give him too much credit because he would be the overwhelming favorite over Pac.

Nonsense. Floyd fought the better opp and did it over 5 weight classes. Many feel Hop beat up on smaller fighters.
