Not sure this match informs the one this coming weekend all that much - as Khan simply isn't capable of doing what Floyd Mayweather Jr. could (or even what Erislandy Lara could, tbh) - but having a look at how ineffective Álvarez can be when faced with movement does provide some interesting brain-feed. Will he psyche himself out and come in planning to outbox Khan, under the assumption that going for the KO will just lead to swinging at blank space all night with Khan adopting evasive maneuvers? Or do he and Chepo have a specific plan to pressure Khan and prevent him from dictating range on the outside? :think

I just flipped over from Smackdown! live on USA to Showtime Extreme for the Mayweather vs. Álvarez replay. Three hours straight, this will be more of Mauro than I've ever been exposed to. I don't think I can deal. :scaredas:

 

I didn't actually notice that loud "si se puede" chant in the 1st the first time watching this. (but to be fair was in a hotel watching it on a stream and trying not to wake up then-Mrs. Butt, so didn't have the volume cranked up much)
