NAH UR MOS DEF WRONG....I SEEN PRYOR FIGHT AT LEAST 20 TIMES...HE WONT BE ABLE TO BOX WITH FLOYD AND AT 140 LBS FLOYDS SPEED IS RIDICULOUS..WATCH THE GATTI FIGHT OR THE CORLEY FIGHT..I KNOW PRYOR AINT NO GATTI OR CORLEY AND IS MUCH BETTER THAN BOTH BUT THAT DONT CHANGE THE FACT THAT FLOYDS HANDS ARE QUICKER AT 140 THAN AT 147..FLOYD BY UD...

Pryor would walk through Floyd and bust him up. He walked through Arguello

who is one of the hardest lb for lb punchers ever. Pryor is just too much for

Mayweather end of story. People see Mayweather destroying punching bags

like Gatti and Corley and make him the greatest fighter that ever lived,

Youtube is fun but Pryor is the real deal. Floyd has never beaten a legit top

pound for pound fighter at 140 or 147 and everybody thinks he can beat the

best 140 pounder who ever lived....oh I forgot Floyd has quick hands...so did

Cotto against Margarito. Pryor would wear down PBF and Destroy him.

This is poor logic to criticize Mayweather for not facing the top p4p fighters @ 140 and 147, and then bringing up Pryor.

Who did Pryor beat? The older Arguello who peaked at 130? Ancient Cervantes?

Dejuan Johnson? Koki..oh I mean, Akoi Kameda?

Pryor would be the favorite head-to-head, but Mayweather had more achievements than the overrated Pryor did.

Oh let me guess..."Bu, bu, but.....Legendary Nights said Leonard was scared of Pryor!!".

I wonder why no one who thinks PBF wins has made a post yet of how the fight plays out other than "Mayweather whoops his ass and outboxes the wild Pryor all day." As compared to myself, Sweet Pea, Jaco and a few others describing how the fight would potentially (and likely) play out, of which all of these posters have picked Pryor. Floyd can adapt well, but he will not be able to adapt to Pryor, his speed, pressure, workrate, lateral movement (this is the key, not many, and certainly no one PBF has ever fought, had better lateral footwork than Pryor), the angles he would throw shots from, his upperbody movement, power, accuracy, and ability to fight well with PBF on the outside, match him evenly at mid-range, and surely dominate the action on the inside. PBF would not be able to get away from Pryor, he would not be throwing many punches himself because of Pryor's attack (and even so, Pryor was not very hittable, for an always aggressive fighter, Pryor's defense was very good), and he could not avoid or block a good amount of Pryor's shots, he would land much more punches, much more cleanly on PBF than anyone Floyd has fought.

This is not saying some past great beats a current great because their automatically superior, that is bull****, as is saying any modern great beats a past great for the same reasons. I'd pick PBF over Antonio Cervantes at 140lbs, and no one can deny how great Cervantes was. Against Pryor, he loses.

PBF's a little higher when rating each all-time P4P, but he's the lesser fighter H2H.

Pryor was far from a technical mastermind his best assets were his chin and relentless pressure. Beyond that, Mayweather is superior in every department. Mayweather is probably one of the most accurate punchers ever in the sport of boxing. Pryor would be facing a foe that would be able to weather his "unorthodox" style and counter his head and body to death on both the outside and the inside. I don't expect Floyd to KO Pryor at all, but I do believe he rolls to an 8-4 UD over Pryor.

Pryor by decision. If there was ever a fighter with the style to beat floyd, its Pryor.

We all know your opinion on any matchup which involves Floyd Mayweather, you might as well stop posting on those topics.

I like Floyd in this one. Pryor is an absolute beast tho and it would be a close fight either way. Both men would be faced with an opponent that they've never encountered before. The reason i favour mayweather is timing accuracy and speed. Arguello ability to time pryor coming in troubled him at times and combine this with mayweathers speed leads me to believe he would have enough success to squeeze out a decision 7-5 imo.

Aaron murders Floyd....it will take the majority of the fight for Aaron to begin to dominate but the end result would be a KO over Floyd.

Pryor wouldn't box Floyd though, he'd hunt him down. Floyd is a great boxer and would make it a good fight, but I honestly believe Pryor in H2H terms beats anyone who has ever fought at 140, except maybe Whitaker because of Whitaker's style and skill, but even then in a 15-rounder I think Pryor could get to Sweet Pea late in the fight. Pryor doesn't have the resume to match his talent (like Mayweather?) but he had incredible ability.
