We'll see I guess. I've just seen so many guys stop throwing. Every guy pretty much. Give up on their gameplans. Going back as far as N'Dou. Talking recently, I saw Cotto abandon his mugging tactics. I saw Hatton stop brawling, I saw Oscar stop throwing his jab. I saw Ortiz lose his head. I saw Mosley not literally NOT WANT TO FIGHT. I saw Robert Guerrero stop brawling.

All the movement, all the counterpunching, all the footwork. Its mentally taxing. You gotta keep up with his movement, and then when you throw your jab, he counters you. You trap him on the ropes, he shoulder rolls, and then on the inside hes strong, so you cant just rough him up.

So by the 7th round. You're behind on the cards. You look over across the ring, and you see this guy who still has stamina like its round 1. who has virtually no bruises on his face. and to make matters worst. HES SMILING AT YOU, but at the same time he's not taking you for granted.

He knows that you're gassing out, that you cant keep up. So he hits you with these right hands leads, after right hand leads. By this time he has your timing down, so he can counter you whenever, You get in and a good jab, and he smiles at you. Breaking your confidence even more. Then in the 12th round, after beating you down mentally and physically for 11 rounds. He doesnt even go for the Knockout. Instead dances around you for the victory.

Its a lot to deal with, and the only thing about Canelo is that hes never been in deep with anyone. Hes never been in a war mental or physical.

If guys like Cotto, and Oscar and Judah, and Marquez can't deal with it mentally. Vets who have been in deep waters.

How the hell is a kid whos NEVER been in a war, never been in deep with serious competition, gonna deal with that mental challenge.

I think Canelo is going to exposed. not as a fighter, because he is an excellent fighter. But mentally. Im not so sure he could deal with it. By round 8 I got Canelo quitting, not literally but mentally. Meaning he stops throwing back as much.

Hes 42-0-1. Never been in deep, Never been in against someone better than him, never had someone seriously plan around him. Never been in an event of this stature. Never been tested. Never been in against someone faster than him. Never been in with someone with so much movement. Never been in with someone who has beat fighters that are better than him.

    I got Floyd 116-112, Maybe 117-111.

Canelo could win by a flash KO though.

The only way this fight can remain close is if Canelo is able to nail him with clean, effective power punches, or the more likely scenario, that Floyd ends up hurting his hands at some point in the fight causing his punch output to decrease. He's had some chronic issues with his hands for years and that's the only question mark in my mind for this fight.

If Alvarez had the best possible training for this fight and managed to figure out how to keep his stamina up in the latter rounds and actually fight for the entire 3 minutes per round, than it can stay relatively close. Too many hypothetical scenarios though, that's why I think this is a 70/30 or 75/25 fight.

100% Floyd. He does not take risk. He can beat and outsmart canelo at any range. Canelo has size and weight....so what ...these 2 strengh against floyd are worth sweet nothing. Stop day dreaming. Floyd is too good

Canelo has just had to dig deep vs. Trout what's that guy on about saying he has never dug deep. We'll see how Mayweather reacts if he is dropped by a 23 year old who picks great combos and won't just stop throwing punches. There are a lot of questions to be asked of both fighters that's why it is a 50/50 fight.

    70-30 mayweather

if it were, say, prime delahoya, and not canelo, vs mayweather, i would narrow those odds.

I rewatched Floyd vs Cotto and Guerrero, and I think Canelo should work on his left hook, Cotto in particular tagged Floyd clean with the L hook

this fight's 70-30 in favour of Floyd though, Floyd has the experience, stamina, skills and ring generalship, Canelo has size, power and crisp combinations

    100/0

Canelo lost already, he's going to be drained and not hydrated.

If this fight is such a mismatch, then why should anyone waste their money on it?
